1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can – 355 ml. - Pale golden color, very frothy and gasified. (the additives). The aroma is weak, something of hoppy. In paladar the leavening feels, the masses and the grains. A bitterness that made the end returns somewhat bitter. Nothing else that to say.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2007 The aroma is light and malty with a corn like malt. There is also a metallic smell as well as water but very little hops. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is not offensive it’s actually very thirst quenching with some bitterness and not a lot of sweet malt. The palate is thin with a somewhat dry finish. Overall it’s a decent pale lager.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Can. Aroma is sweet and grainy. Flavor is watery and chemical, with very little sweetness and hops. Typical macro brew look and feel. Amstel bright is a much better beach beer.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle... AWOL ’07... Mostly clear, light yellow lager with a small, fizzy, white head. Yeasty aroma with notes of white bread and biscuit malt. Perfectly-balanced, seltzer water-like flavor with mild notes of pilsener malt bitter hops. Medium-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish.

smell of malt,a bit sweet
tastt. a bit of citrus and a hint of beer?!
and if you tast it a little bit longer, somemalt and very hidden bitterness ( a trace of hops?)
aftertastesome bitterness and very very hidden sweetness remembering bitter almonds
perhaps refreshing? Did a jar of beer fall into a big barrel of polar water?

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
My can claims a full 5% ABV, FWIW Very shortlived white head, over metallic yellow beer. First vanilla and grain, rapidly reduced to some sorry rainwater aroma with some derelict straw stalks in the puddle. Ever so slight honey aroma. Honey remains in the taste, but is superseded by a metallic tang, however restrained. Still, it is not really bad, and there’s even a resemblance of balance. Retronasal, I seeem to get some pineapple ester. Refreshing, perfect for a Carribean beach, I suppose. Light, not to say watery. Better than most of this TW pilseners; nice find, Dean!

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
8oz bottle at some waterfront bar in Bonaire that was a short walk from where the ship docked. Ok aroma. Strong enough. Doughy, lemongrass, skunky. Clean golden yellow color, ok head that quickly faded to nothing. No lace. Bitter flavor, like aroma with more of the doughiness coming through. Lite body, watery mouthfeel, crisp bitter finish. Went down easy, nothing special, nothing offensive. Oh well, worth a try.

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can. Very pale yellow color with a thin head. Slightly grainy aroma and maybe a bit o’ fruit. Taste started as non-existant, but then unfortunately morphed into moldy grain fields. The more I drink, the more I cringe.
