Poličke Hradební 10.6⁰: Look; good white head and near clear yellow golden body. Aroma; grass, pale malts, spicy light wort. Taste; malts, wort, grassy hops, oily butterscotch, hints of apple honey, moves through an intermezzo of curious hops, to a finish with bread, malts and dusty hops. Quite true to the style. Aromat/Aroma: Suchy słodowy; chmiel wyraźniejszy: kwiatowy, ziołowy, nieco ziemisty; metaliczny, żelazisty. Lekko utleniony, w miarę upływu czasu, mocniejszy. / Dry malts; hops more distinct: flowers, herbs, slightly earthy; metallic, iron present. A bit oxydized, stronger with time.
Wygląd/Appearance: Jasnożółta klarowa. Piana obfita, mieszana drobno-średnia, nietrwała. Bardzo ładne koronkowanie. / Pale yellow clear. Vivid, mixed fine-medium, not lasting. Very nice lacing.
Smak/Taste: Słodowy (świeższy niż w aromacie); słodki, lekko estrowy. Miękka średnio-niska goryczka chmielowa. / Malty (more fresh than in aroma); sweet, light esters. Soft, medium-low hop bitterness.
Odczucie/Palate: Lekkie, nie wodniste ciało. Dość orzeźwiające. Lekko szorstki posmak żelaza. / Light, not watery body. Quite refreshing. Slightly sharp iron aftertaste.
Ogólnie/Overall: Staranniej zrobiona byłaby świetną ’desitką’. / If made with more care, would be great ’desítka’.

Fľaša 0,5 l z Pivotéky v Nitre. Svetlejšia farba, pekná biela, hustá pena. Prekvapivo plná chuť, úvod sladový, záver jemne horkastý. Plusom je, že pivo je nepasterizované. Veľmi dobré výčapné pivo.

BlackHaddock (4924) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2014
6th Oct 2014. On tap in the BeerGeek Bar, Prague. Bog standard Pilsner with all the usual attributes of a golden, clear and bright body, a white head that faded quickly, no aroma worthy of note and although refreshing had no real taste to pontificate about. Could have been one of a thousand such beers. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing to make it stand out in the crowd either.

tap. Clear golden color. Small size, white head, disappears. Buttery, sour, diacetyl in aroma. Malty, buttery, diacetyl, grassy notes in taste. Soft carbonation. Gone off.

Sour, lactic aroma. Pale brief head. Lactic toffee taste. Thin, weak, and filtered. Fizzy watery palate.

Tao at RJ. Aroma quite mild. Has light yeast. Clear golden colour, stable white head. Taste is balanced, light to moderately malty, same applies to hops. Rather neutral hops flavour. Body is thin, but does not strike me as excesively watery. Refreshing.

In few words only since I don’t see any point in spending too much time on poor beer. Pours gold with short head. Aroma is mainly acetyl and paper which are so dominant you don’t want to take another sip. Light in palate with short bitterness. Don’t go for it.

Geiserich (3698) - Linz, AUSTRIA - AUG 17, 2013
Bottle: Golden color with a frothy white head. Nose with grain and grassy hops, hints of honey, citrus and pineapple. Flavor is light grainy and malty, light notes of butter, grassy hopps in the end. Light herbal bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle. Honey, butter and metal in the aroma, dominating the malt and hops. Gets better as it warms, but the hoppiness is disappointingly low in this one. Nevertheless a rather pleasant treat.
