1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
500ml bottle, provided by Gaute. Shared with Esben and Ingrid. Huge, bubbly white head, slowly dissipating over a clear, pale golden body. Fragile lacing. Aroma is almost nothing, some hints of hay and grain. Minimal taste profile of pale malts, dry and sweet. Soft and clean in the mouth. Watered. Dull, no by-products, though (Tromsø, 12.10.2013).

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
12/11 A 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured pale yellow body with medium sized head. Hay, grainy and yeasty aroma. Touch of coriander might be something else that fooled my senses. Flavor was weak, lightly sweetish, eggy, grainy and metallic. It had short finish that was a bit herbal as well. Not good for sure.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottled 500ml. -from Billa Kiev, shared with Marko and heavy. Yellow coloured, medium sized white head, not so pleasant yeasty and dusty herbal nose. Dry cereals and dusty herbal taste with short bitter finish. Not good. The worse of three Poltava beers I’ve found in Kiev.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Ogi’s, found in Ukraine, shared with heavy to. Anyway, always nice to see a relic of Soviet brewing tradition such as a Zhigulevskoe and Yachme/inniy Kolos. You never really know what you’ll be getting exactly, but it’s likely that it’ll be crap. Hot on the steps of their crappy Zhigulivske and surprisingly decent Dikanske Vechori, I’d kinda expected it to be like the first one, and, unfortunately, I wasn’t wrong. No notes on the appearance, average pale lager look. Dry yeasty nose, some vegetables, some carrot? Umm... The taste is loaded with heavy dust and egg. Dry. The notes end with two WTFs surrounding something I can’t read. Yeah, this is bad.
