Golden with a gentle sparkle. Aroma is a little bit plasticy and slightly toasty in a bad way. Fairly full body.

Nose of grains, molasses. Light body. Thin to oily. Grainy taste with little oxidation. A hint of caramel. Low bitterness. Quite a Soviet stuff.

Perfectly drinkable and slightly enjoyable, though thoroughly unremarkable, svitle. Great malty aroma and surprisingly creamy though still thin body, average-to-low CO2, abrupt finish. Would easily session it though (Сільпо, Миколаї&

Bottle. As "Poltava Bochkovoe Pivo Svetloe". Clear straw color with a white head. Aroma of cooked cereals (very corny), diacetyl and a metallic hint. Sweetish grainy-corny flavor with a diacetyl note and a slightly drier finish. Pretty light-bodied, slightly creamy because of the diacetyl. Not good.

Golden color. Beautiful high head. Aroma of malt. Rather weak but not bad at all. Taste of malt with notes of yeast, though yeast are not mentioned on the label.

500ml bottle, trade with Gaute. Tested together with the Rigas Alus from the same brewery. Pours an airy white head, some of it remaining, to a clear golden body. Disappearing lacing. Moderate pale malty on the nose, semi-sweet. Grainy taste joined by a minimal touch of caramel. Sweet and soft on the swallow. Medium to thin bodied. Clean tasting. Drinkable but rather dull throughout (Tromsø, 11.10.2013).

Полтавп& Бочкове - пиво світле непасте& - is a Poltavian "draught" beer unpasteurized. 12’ and 4,6%. 0,5L bottle, tapped 30th August 2013, bought in Poltava hypermarket Ekvator WelMart, enjoyed 29th September in Kremenchuk .0,5 л пляшки, постука& 30 серпня 2013 купив в Полтаві, користу& 29 вересня о Кременч& dark chocolate, roasted almonds. Somewhat persistant head, though fragile. Straw yellow to golden body. Tastes malts, grains, bread, smoke, sweet. Sweet barbecue mouthfeel. A hint of bitterness is present to the palate. Aftertaste; grains, malts, syrup, smoke. Overall alright for those who like it barbecued and sweet.
