Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is sparkling light yellow. Aroma is notes of minerals, wood/stems, and apple skin. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Light body, watery texture, lively/fizzy carbonation, lightly astringent.
Dreadfully dull. I reviewed this a week ago alongside the Dupont Cuvee Colette (another Champagne-like cider) and this one just couldn’t compete at all.

Pale straw. Quickly diminishing head. Fairly dull mineral-rife nose with accompanying cinnamon, lemon, pear, lime, and nectarine. Stinging carbonation with some softness. Initially dull with an unripe fruit character that predominates. Some waxiness exudes, akin to honeycomb, but overall things remain notably stark and lacking that obligatory explosiveness from the fruit. Lifeless finish is circus peanutlike in its yeastiness, with "flat" acids to coincide. Not a whole lot to inspire in this one. A rather plain, undistinguished, one-dimensional sidra.

Sampled @ Tinto Fino during NYC Cider Week.
Very pale with good clarity.
Flowery, soft apples, powdered nose.
Tastes caramelized. Hard water, bitter & green, but not harsh.
Good amount of carbonation. Seemed a bit watery though. A few bucks more then the Trablanco Cosecha, which I enjoyed much more.

bottle at Avec in Chicago. sparkling clear pale gold body with soda-like bubbles and little head retention. has a fairly simple nose typical of Spanish sparkling cider: mild apple / pear juice, very low must and a mineral quality similar to Champagne. juicy, fleshy ripe apple fruit flavor with medium-high acid, medium bitterness, medium-low sweetness. light body thinning late. the vibrant acid and mineral flavor make is enjoyable to drink but it’s certainly not something I would call complex.

Bottle, bought @ Made in Spain, Esbjerg.
Pours pale golden with a small, fizzy white head that soon disappears. Aroma has green apple, light oaky, some citrusy zest. High carbonation, thin and lightish mouthfeel. Flavour is fairly simple, little sweetness left, sadly a bit limited in apple flavours as well. Light zesty green apple, quite oaky and dry. A bit simplistic, but nice as well.

Interesting, fairly complex aroma of apple skin, hard sheep’s milk cheese rind, dried flowers, and engine oil. Fairly dry, medium high acid flavor that doesn’t have as much character as the aroma. Pleasant overall but there are better ciders for the money.

Clear light medium yellow colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and quick gone, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, initial sulfur - sewer notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, apple skin, champagne alike. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is fizzy.

Bottle at Fin & Loz’s tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella & kids consumed 21.10.11 This bottle purchased in Basque region, Spain July 2011 Pours light gold with a busy carbonation. I get a weird sort of drain like aroma at first which sadly doesn’t do this many favours, mmhh... despite the lovely bottle and that fact that this was considerably more expensive than many of the other Asturian and Basque ciders this isn’t actually that special, the Pure North from the cider hotbed of Holmfirth that we tasted beforehand was a far better cider in my opinion. Dry, champagne like in mouthfeel and also in taste, apples too subtl and shy, not much here to interest me sadly. A6 A3 T6 P2 Ov12 2.9

Bottle. Pours a very pale gold with no head. Nose is apples, nutmeg, and light floral notes. Dry as a government publication and delicious; there’s a lot of flavor in there, and new layers keep revealing themselves. Clean and astringent with good carbonation. I like this one a lot.
