Cloudy straw color, small white head that had a decent hang time then faded slowly to leave just a bit of lace behind. Nice wheat, citrusy aroma with a bit of bannana and maybe just a hint of spice but i might be pushing it on that one.The flavor is wheaty and a bit on the sweet and sour side with the fruit becoming citrusy. The bannana just died in the aroma with the hops just barley showing up and just a faint hint of spice coming through. Not a bad brew but it could use a little help to get it over the hump. Thanks go to Falconseye for this brew.

Cloudy amber with a white head that leaves quickly. Musty wheat, small hops and some sweet citrus in the nose. Slighty wheaty flavors, yeast, citrus (lemons) and small malts. Smooth and wheat filled palate that finishes with a dose of small spices and malts.

Lightly hazy color with some sticky white head & some lacing. The aroma has some musty sweet wheat & some hop presence. The flavor has some hop notes and some spice but finishes watery, musky and tangy, fairly average american wheat. Thanks Falconseye!

A little citrusy in the first sip. Nice flavor. Not spectacular but its again another good effort. Wheat’s are popular around here because anytime you get out of the city, you see it. Again, I can see this getting lukewarm reviews from outside this area. I hope this improves with age. Not much selection locally with the exception of Boulevard and Free State. Some others but the more micros around here the better.

An above-average American Wheat, a style I generally don't like much because Americans take out all the good yeastiness of a German Wheat and generally add a bitter, metallic flavor. But this beer largely avoided that fate. Cloudy and lightly sedimented, this is a yeasty concoction with a hint of metallic flavor.

Meh. Aroma lightly citric, doughy/yeasty, with unidentified spice. Very little malt is apparent in the flavor. An indistinct bitterness is the first thing to notice, followed by a little metallic flavor (which is also present in the nose). Cloudy copper color, medium head.

The beer after its pour from the 12-ounce brown bottle sets in the glass a somewhat chill hazed golden amber color with the head modest in size and a winsome semi-creamy white color, after its disintegration the lace forms a thin white veil upon the glass. Nose has a nice sweet wheat aroma with a fresh crispness and the start sweet with a nice grain profile, the top is light in its feel to the palate. Finish is moderately acidic and the hops pleasant and subdued quite dry and long lasting aftertaste, a decent drinking beer

13 June, 02 - A decent american wheat. High white head with a slightly cloudy straw color. Slight cara-pils and hop aroma. Light wheat sweetness. Rather refreshing. 6/3/7/3/14. 2 Dec., 04 Now under Pony Express Original Wheat. Cloudy straw with a diminished white head. Sourdough wheat bread aroma. Biting feel. Mild lemon and malt vinegar flavors. Mild cobweb yeast. Slightly date bottle (08/04) but still it does not seem like time has done this one wrong.
