Oct 19, 2009 Bottle best by 07-2010. Pours a clear golden color with a thick creamy white head- pure Belgian goodness. The aroma is full of yeast, spices, sweet apples. The flavor is similar; sweet malts, lemon and light spices, lots of yeast and pepper. Nice and warm. Easygoing. A bit of an odd alcohol taste in the finish, otherwise nice.

Oct 10, 2009 I’m really not a big fan of spice beers. But this might be an exception. It’s very classy and well done. Beautiful presentation, with nice thickish head; and pronounced yet unobtrusive spices mingle together effortlessly. Once in while, you even get a slightly salty note in the finish. But it’s very subtle. It kinda reminded my of Orval in many ways.

Oct 2, 2009 Bottle. Creamy white excellent mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Fruity esåpecially banana notes. many esters present. Long great heavy bitter finsh. Creamy palate. really nice beer.
