Jan 10, 2006 A nice orange hue with this one, incredibly easy drinking, didn’t know it was as strong as it is until now! A supurb beer for me, one of my favorites. Citrus, flowers, abit of malt, abit of hops=nice!

Jan 1, 2006 Another of the hits of the Sydney RateBeer Xmas bash. Looks superb: cloudy orange with a tall head that lasted and lasted and lasted. The aroma is light and floral/perfumy, like a light English summer ale. Pink grapefruit notes. Creamy mouthfeel. Flavourwise, it’s tart and citric, with grapefruit to the fore. Refreshing and tangy - great summer drinking. (Bottle, RateBeer Sydney Xmas gathering 2005)

Jan 1, 2006 (bottle) Hazy golden colour with a stable fluffy yellow head. Yeasty and strong fruity (orange peel, pineapple) aroma with floral hops. Sweetbitter flavour, medium body, lively carbonation. Sweet malty and fruity taste, dry and moderately bitter but floral and herbal hoppy finish. Aromatic brew.

Dec 25, 2005 This bottled brew poured a extremely large head of foamy finely sized long lasting off-white colored bubbles. The body contained suspended carbonation, was hazy yeasty and yellow brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of yeast and malt. Its mouth feel is initially smooth with a lingering slightly tingly mild vinous palate. Its flavor contained yeasty malt dough notes and was very tasty. Very nice mouth feel.

Dec 23, 2005 Had to crack out a bottle after everyone was raving about it at the Sydney gathering. Awesome-looking stuff - had a massive dimply head like Orval. Loads of grassy (in a good way), coconutty, pineappley Belgian hops, some vanilla maltiness, bubble gum and subtle classic Belgian phenolics. Perhaps a little on the sweet and full-bodied side. Reminds me of Arabier, or is it Boskeun? Seemed slightly better in Sydney.

Dec 23, 2005 Bottle (RB Sydney XMASG ’05): Probably my pick forsecond on the night. Slightly hazy golden with a big white head. Lots of fresh field reminiscent flowery and grassy hops, subtle spice, and buttery pilsner-like aromas. This really smells great, and it doesn’t dissapoint in the palate; malty cloves with a rounded wheat body that finishes in a quenching sweet lemon scented sonnet which is very pleasantly juicy and refreshing. I must say that I am immensly impresed. Dare I say it is a near perfect summer beer?
