On draught at KBF Poperinge. Pours a deep golden coloured beer with a nice white lasting head. Nice slight hoppyness but lacking. Aroma of sweet hops, and malts. Medium bodied and nice lace. Taste is spicy, nice bitterness, and hops.

Clear medium to dark yellow color with a large, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate hoppy, perfume, moderate yeasty, soap. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and some "vanila pouder" notes in the finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (020608)

Jul 26, 2008 0.33l bottle in Koksijde. Deep golden color with a white lasting creamy head. Nice lacing down the glass. Hoppy and yeasty aroma. Taste is sweet and bitter but bitterness is a mixture of hops and spices. On the warm day was not bad at all.

Jul 2, 2008 Bottle at Café de la Paix, Poperinge. Clear deep golden colour with a small head. Potent fruity and grassy hop aroma. Very bitter flavours with tart fruitiness in the background. Well-carbonated, light to medium body. Points for originality

May 29, 2008 Bottled at the hop museum in Poperinge. Clear golden, creamy head. Sweaty orange aroma. Dryish with clean mouthfeel, some orange jam and bitter almond. Freshly hoppy with long bitter finish. Pleasant, but with less character than the Hommelbier.

May 27, 2008 Tap at ’t Brugs Beertje. Nice hoppy aroma. Golden color with a creamy white head, lacing head. Creamy lightly sweet pale malt with a trace of kandi and persistent mild hop flowing through it. Flowery hop. Finishes balanced. Rather refined.
