COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Was once sold as "Poppelmans Brown Ale Vinterutgåva" but is now only named "Poppels Brown Ale".

Fin men kanske något tunn. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

Aroma is full of caramel and nuts. Taste is really up in your face and full of hazelnut, sharp roasted almonds and chocolate. Wow, didn’t see that coming. After a while when it settles down, it turns out to be a good balanced brown ale and if everyone brewed the style like this, I would have no problems drinking more "brownies". Good job!

Bottle 33 cl from Systembolaget. Brown with reddish notes, beige nice head. Dark syrup, slight chocolate, some roast, slight fudge, a little fruity, nuttiness. Nice sweetness with some bitterness. Medium body, medium carbonation with a nice nutty sweet finish. Great brown ale, also paired very well with parsnip soup.
