Was once sold as "Poppelmans Brown Ale Vinterutgåva" but is now only named "Poppels Brown Ale".

Bottle tasted. An amazing first effort by the newly started Swedish Poppelman brewery. It has almost everything a Brown Ale should have - neither more, neither less. Extremely satisfying even if a Brown Ale isn’t my first choice. I’m looking forward to future releases from Poppelmans!

Poppels bryggeri Brown Ale +++ mörk i färgen, brödsmak och rätt tung. Okej men inte lika bra som mohawks ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Malt, rostade toner, kaffe, kola. Väldigt lättdrucken men välsmakande. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fin men kanske något tunn. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

Aroma is full of caramel and nuts. Taste is really up in your face and full of hazelnut, sharp roasted almonds and chocolate. Wow, didn’t see that coming. After a while when it settles down, it turns out to be a good balanced brown ale and if everyone brewed the style like this, I would have no problems drinking more "brownies". Good job!
