COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ölen du håller i din hand är en Extra Special Bitter (ESB). Denna numera klassiska öltyp såg dagens ljus 1969 då den bryggdes för första gången. I vår tolkning hittar du ett öl med stor kropp, doft av malt och söt frukt samt ett avslut med fin humlebeska.

33 cl. bottle. Clear dark amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, caramel, hops and fruit.

Ungstrup (29850) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 18, 2014
Bottled. A hazy red beer with lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle at Ungstrup. Clear orange colored with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of caramel and hops. Sweet and fruity flavor of caramel, bread and hops. Hoppy finish.

Poured from bottle, dark red copper with almost no head. Aroma with notes of caramel, toffee, butter, some resin. Taste is light bitterness with a big malt body, notes of dries fruit, syrup, toffee, resin. Lacking caracter.

Red-brown, almost clear colour with 2,5 fingers of head. Slightly musty aroma with scents of mushrooms, caramel malts, sour milk and old world hops. Some sour milk on the flavour as well, medium bodied and round with pleasant flavour profile, low bitterness and a medium finish.

(Draught at Ardbeg Embassy, Stockholm, 28 May 2014) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots, orange, toffee and caramel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, apricots, orange, toffee and a gentle bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Malty and tasty, with a gentle hop character. Quite nice.

Appearance: Clear nutty color with a thick tan head. Good lacing.
Aroma: Caramel, roasted and mild fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a rich bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Caramel malty, mild hoppy, roasted and fruity.
Overall impression: Nice and tasty. This would be a huge success at a British pub.
