bottle, thank you Cuso! Deep brown colour, beige head. Sweet and malty, lots of caramel. Light and sweet, I rather liked it even if the sweetness might seem a bit artificial - there are worse examples of the style around.

Bottle (Diky, Cuso!): Very deep amber coloured, small and stable brownish head, sugar, sweet caramel and milk-coffee in the slightly toasty nose; mainly sweet flavour, shy bitterness detectable; short sweet-toasty finish, sugar and artificial sweeteners ("sladidlo") detectable, a slight bitterness, caused by burnt malt, too. Not that bad, but a bit too artificial.....

MoritzF (8590) - Bochum, GERMANY - NOV 30, 2011
(bottle) Dark brown, almost black colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Roast-malty and slightly ashy aroma with notes of milk coffee and artificial sweetener. Slightly sugary sweet and roasty-bitter and slightly tart flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Roasty malty, slightly ashy taste with notes of caramel, shy hints of coffee and leafy and sugary notes towards the slightly roasty bitter and tart finish. Not great. 24.XI.11

Dark colour with creamy head, in taste I caramel and sweetness I find only low bitterness, not really sweet, with coffee aroma.

ElDesmadre (1716) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUN 7, 2011
Bottle. Dark brown, medium sized head, ok sustain. Aroma is roasted malt, grain beverage, dark bread, slightly metallic. A bit like a malzbier. Medium carbonation, watery palate. Taste is lightly roasted, grain beverage-like, some caramel, grass and earth. Sweetish and with artificial sweetener chemical tongue sensation on top of that. Not good.

0,5 l bottle as a gift, thanks mattphilips!
Deep brown one near black, some ruby character. Froathy beige head that mets down to a small lacing one. Heavy, roasted malt, dark chocolate in the aroma with sourish bottom yeast, some lurking hops. Medium bodied one, caramel, molasses and roasted grains in the flavor with some coffe, mild fruitiness, yeasts.

Medium dark beige head over reddish tinted deep-brown beer. Rich chocolate nose, surprisintly intense for such a light beer; maybe a touch of liquorice. Again dark malts & grains, chocolate malt in particulat, and a clear, but not cloying sweetness. Clean flavour despite the restsugars. Medium carbonated, light body, grist texture and slickness. Flavours diminish gradually in the aftertaste, but it acquires a slight smokey streak after some warming up. Certainly for its ABV, very acceptable Dunkel! Many thanks for searching and bringing to Peter V.

Bottle: Aroma is sweet, malty and caramelic. Also a remarkable roastiness. Dark brown color, low off-white head. Flavor is light to medium sweet, light caramelic and quite roasty in the end. Hints of smoke and dark chocolate. Dry, light bitter end. Quite nice but a hint too sweet.
