3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 subcell (95) - Portsmouth, Virginia, USA - JUN 29, 2008
I had this beer when I was in Italy and was far more impressed by this than the Chiara. I was expecting this to poor a nice red but instead it was more like an amber. It was sweet with a mild bitter aftertaste. The aroma was pleasant but malty not hoped. I was drink this beer again!
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 cgarvieuk (7988) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 7, 2007

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 sinte (171) - udine, ITALY - JAN 29, 2007
Bottle 0.33L.
Clear amber body, with a small, fizzy, off-white head; fully diminishing with virtually no lacing.
Moderate-to-heavy malty aroma (toasted, caramel) with light yeasty notes (dough); notes of raisin and alcohol.
Flavour starts moderately sweet and lightly bitter and evolves towards a bit stronger bitter note.
Light-to-medium body with a watery texture; flat carbonation; light alcoholic note in the finish.
Not as satisfactory as many other bocks; something like a watery bock or a "bit stronger" standard lager.
1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Spiesy (2336) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - JAN 27, 2007
Bottled, in Trastevere, Roma, Italy.
Deep amber colour, loaded with malts, this particular bottle was a little old and tired, tasted like rusty hub caps. Came out like dirty bog water. Undrinkable but suspect it was faulty and deserves to be re-tried.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Slayer85 (863) - Firenze, ITALY - DEC 15, 2006
Clear red/ammer beer, with a small head. There is malt, caramel and a good body. Not bad but lacks something. I prefer the pale version of this beer.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Blastomorpha (2) - ITALY - SEP 16, 2006 does not count
Bottled 33 Cl. Pour amber, with a thin brief head, without leaving many laces on the glass. Malty aroma with a slight remind of caramel and a bit of alcohol. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Bitter finish that increases with time. Not a must have, neither a bad one, being an italian bock. Sorry for some (probably) mistake, but this is my first rating!
