Bottle. 5.5%. Best before 12.16. As ’Angelo Poretti Premium Lager Hops Masters 4’. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Good lacing. Sweetish, grassy, slightly spicy hop aroma. Fruity, light floral notes as it warms. Flavour is fruity with a hint of citrus. Fledgling hints of plastic and cardboard as well. Light apple note as it warms. Finish is a bit grainy. Lingering grassy note. Meh. 31.08.16.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Had several bottles in Italy during my holoday. The beer is clear yellow golden colored and has a stable white head.
Aroma of malts and grains, also grassy notes and white bread. Taste is thin bodied and has a light malty sweetness with some fresh hops. Further pretty watery and boring.
Finish is light bitter and watery.
Oke lager but typical Italian.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
June 2016 - Bottle share at Scopey’s, as ’Poretti 4 Luppoli Originale Chiara’. Thanks to me for this one. Picked up in M&S. Some money may have changed hands, but this was essentially free. Clear dark yellow, still, foamy white dense head, full lacing. Aroma is light pale malt, light mustiness, touch of honey. Body is light, tingly carbonation, a bit foamy. Taste is thin, light malt sugars, cracker malts. Pretty watery and plain. I wonder how many years it will take before this sort of beer is phased out forever.
