65 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori. Rated on 25.03.2010
Aroma is somewhat fruity with hops, sweetness and distant floral notes. Flavour has caramel, exotic fruits, hops, some alcohol and biscuits. Too low on hops, too high on alcohol and sweetness. Probably would have been better fresh.

Bottle labeled 4’th Anniversary Ale shared with daje
Orange, big frothy head. Smells of pine, honey, some smoked malts, grass and herbs. Heavy sweet, fruity, alot of malt back bone. Very nice. Heavy bitter, pine and alot of resins and grass. Almost full bodied, super oily, average carbonation. This one had a surprising hop bill untypical what i’ve tried from Port Brewing earlier, and i’m glad they don’t just make similar beers with different malt backbone. This one is very good. Hope to try another anniversary too

Backlog. Had on draft (i think) at Lost Abbey a year or so ago, and never realized they had separate entries. Poured a bright, hazy orange body. Aroma is fresh citrus and bitter pine hop along with a nice malt presence. Mouthfeel is bitter with notes of citrus tang, bitter pine, grapefruit, orange, and sweet malt.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 Long story short, this is a less robust version of the might hop 15... where the grapefruit, citrus, pine, floral, grass aroma of the 15 hop varieties of the hop15 bangs you in the forehead, this double ipa offering from pizza port is much more subdued... this is a solid beer that provides a more mellow double ipa profile...
the ipa family of beers from pizza port never disappoints... hop15, high tide, 2nd anniversary, and wipe out all do the trick and represent a nice representation on the spectrum of western styled ipas
