Bottle courtesy of gandgkevin on 07/18/2009. Cloudy orange body with a medium frothy off-white head. Big floral and citrus hop aroma. Sweet caramel flavor with fruity and citrus hop notes. Medium body with moderately high carbonation.

Bottle shared at SL by an unknown? Nice orange color, decent head. Good aroma of bittering hops. Piney and light citrus Taste is hoppy but not overdone at all.. Nice DIPA... well balanced. Way to easy to drink. Wish I had more and still on my wants list.... *****UPDATE***** Bottle from blackforestco... thanks jake. Poured into a snifter, nice orange color, decent head. Sweet aroma of sugar, piney and citrus hops. Taste is a nicely done (balanced) DIPA... Strong malt backbone to support the pine and citrus hops. Maybe a touch of honey. It has a medium body. Overall a nice enjoyable DIPA. Thanks again jake

Crystal clear amber with a fleeting white head. Good pine and floral hop aromas. Smooth medium body. Nice hoppy floral and pine flavors on a lightly sweet toasted caramel base.

Bottle shared at Noogfest High 5. Poured hazy copper color with an average creamy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Heavy sour citrus earthy hop aroma. Medium body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Heavy smooth bittersweet hoppy flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good beer.

Bottle. Iced tea with a white head. Big floral and citrus hop nose and flavor with a little bitterness. Oily mouthfeel. Really enjoyed this.

Pours a hazy, dark ornage color with a small, foamy off white head that leaves scattered spots of lacing behind. The citrus shines through in the aroma with orange, pineapple, and tangerines. Very tropical smelling. A big dose of caramel comes through as well showing its sweetness. The flavor follows suit with the pineapple and orange citrus along with a good dose of pine bitterness. Sweet caramel malt comes in behind and tames the bitterness and adds huge malt sweetness. There is definitely some alcohol heat on the finish. The mouthfeel is big and syrupy with a lengthy bitter sweet finish. This is a nice ipa, but one I couldn’t drink in large quantities.

On tap at Daily Pint, Santa Monica, 7/6/09. Pours nice amber with very strange vanilla butter aroma. Nice bitterness with sweet balanced. This is an incredibly creamy and sweet IPA and I am wondering if they added lactose sugars. Interesting anniversary brew, but certainly not the best I’ve had from Port/LA.

These guys sure know how to make a solid DIPA - of course they’re from CA, so that’s no huge surprise.
