4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 mensch (205) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - SEP 26, 2010My bottle just says Anniversary Ale. Very little carbonation, no head. Much lighter aroma than expected. Cloudy carmel-tan colored. Thick and rich and juicy, carmel malts and alcohol and citrus and bitter hops and, and could I have another please. Tastes more like a nicely hopped barley wine than an IIPA.

22oz bottle pours out a hazy orange topped with a huge fluffy sand head. Aroma of a nice hop combo, citrus, pine, and some caramel sweetness. Taste much as the aroma great hop combo not over the top bitter, plenty of sweetness.

Bottle. Clear golden beer with a big offwhite lacy head. Fruity and hoppy aroma. Tart bitterness some hops flavour.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Nuffield (3362) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUN 13, 2013
Hazy off-yellow with white head. Vibrant hop-monster aroma with a lot of pine. Full frontal hops, again pine, but a bit more pine-sol, too. "Thick" is a good word (from the commercial description.) The finish ends sharply with an acidity and lingering attack that are somewhat uncomfortable. Big tingle on tongue and long, long finish. Interesting and ambitious, but not my favorite double IPA. Bottle.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 tdmuel (109) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 10, 2013
Pour is a hazy orange with a bubbly off-white head. Lots of fruit on the nose, a lot of white grape and citrus, some peach, bitter pine resin, and a bready malt character. Lots of sticky pine hops on the taste, nice bit of malt up front too, citrus fruits, again I get a nice white grape taste, and a bit of mango. Nice bit of bitterness, well balanced with the malt character, and really drinkable.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 radarsock (503) - Massachusetts, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Purchased from One Stop in Haverhill for $8.00. To undersized snifter, it pours a dark orange with an explosive off-white head four to five fingers in length. Strong aromas of pine cones and pine bark, rice flour, olive oil, corn, and pilsner malt. Tastes strongly of pine, sea salt, autumnal leaves, and caramel. Its bitterness is one-dimensional.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jhgrantjr (301) - Tennessee, USA - JUN 1, 2013
On tap and in bottle. Tap was definitely better, probably significantly fresher too. Pours a slightly hazy orange/amber color. Aroma of pine and resin, taste was more piney than I care for. Not one of my favorite DIPAs.

Hazy orange pour with a decent white head. Citrusy, grapefruit, aroma. Sweet, citrus flavor, lots of hops, not overwhelming though, pretty darn good.
