Ungstrup (29850) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 13, 2009
Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of fruit, peaches and mango, combined with notes of wheat and caramel. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, and medium notes of caramel, malt, alcohol, which leaves a burn on the tongue, leading to a very bitter and alcoholic finish.

Bottled@Oliver Twist (Stockholm). Thanks to the peeps from Ölfrämjandet for sharing. Orangeish golden cllour, small beige head. Aroma is sweet fruity hops along with alcohol, some wood and grass. Flavour is annoyingly sweet of the same as mentioned. Semibitter finish.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy pale amber, small head. Citric sweaty fruity nose. Sweet and fruity, the relatively slim body struggles to keep up with citric hops and alcohol. Finishes with almost s much alcohol burn as hop bitterness. Less hoppy and more alcoholic than anticipated.

Hazy amber beer. Soft to dry palate. Deep rich hops that are not too bitter. Quite a bit of aniseed - licorice alcohol but it blends in quite well. A savoury and warming DIPA. Liked it.

Cloudy light amber color; the bottle has been shaken a bit. Fruity aroma, with very mature apples, sweaty and cheesy hops. Strong body, very strong flavor, of malt and toffee, with good sweetness level; the malt and hop combination produce a nutty touch too; the hop brings in the fruity side (mainly bitter oranges); more fruity and less resiny than many from the same brewery. More hop oils in the final. Powerful and excellent as often, from Port.
