Anniversary Ale is light gold to pale orange in color and offers a potent aroma of fresh pine and citrus with some warming alcohols present. The taste is a thick, chewy hop presence only barely contained by balancing malts. The finish is pure hop expression with a moderate warming alcohol sensation. Hops – Columbus, Amarillo and Simcoe; dry-hopped with Columbus and Amarillo. Body – Medium.

22 oz bomb. Cloudy, golden. Big, super juicy, big, barleywine-esque. Smothered w/ tropical fruits, caramel, thick mouthfeel, almost syrupy...not mouth numbingly bitter....fair amount of candy sweetness to even if out. Tastes 10%, bruiser like beer. I could see why this wouldn’t be everyone’s cup a tea. I liked it, but wouldn’t revisit considering the $$$.

Big...with a huge citrus punch! Anniversary boast tons of hops, but there is a nice malty backbone to it as well--just enough to hold everything together. Very nice to sip on. 22oz bottle

On tap at Ridgewood Wine & Beer, Raleigh, NC. Dark orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit rind, and light pineapple. Taste of soft grapefruit, wet grass, fresh pine needles, and mild caramel malt. Nice lingering bitterness. A great DIPA.

Chunky hoppy sweet. If there was a IPA syrup for pancakes. Carmel hops light bite nose is citrus strong and apple and candy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle of 10 Year Anniversary Ale (11% this year) into a Corsendonk badged tulip (twice) on 3rd June 2016 while on holiday in California. Golden amber in colour with a little beige head of deep foam. The breweries description is spot on, I found this hoppy, piney and with a warming alcoholic depth from the first sniff and sip. I had the whole bottle with a cheese platter and salted biscuits, sharing neither the beer or cheese plate with anyone or thing (Frankie the dog looked on hopefully). Impressed.

Candied apple and lots of guava and citrus, mango. Golden amber pour with good head and lacing. Very bitter. And very nice all around. A little more complex than the hop concepts I just had. Tap at Sovereign Savor event.

Draft at the Lost Abbey 10th Anniverary Party. Golden pour with decent head. Lots and lots of hops and sweet citrus aromas. Flavors if more hoppy deliciousness. Pretty good for a style that has been becoming less and less of a favorite.

Orangish color with a white head, good lacework and medium lasting. Aroma has hoppy notes, notes of orange peel, citrus and resins. Flavor has a good bitterness, citrusy hints, bittery orange and some peachy notes. Good bitterness in the final with good duration.

Label says 10th Anniversary and 11%. Just sayin’. Golden orange with a very subtle haze, two-finger thick white head and excellent lace. Aromas of citrus/tropical fruits, along with some floral/pine in the background. Flavor is dominated by a big hop bitterness - orange, tropical fruit, pine - supported with prominent caramel sweetness. Full body, moderate carbonation, creamy mouthfeel and a clean finish. Alcohol is present, but in the background.

Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich flowers, hops, malt and caramel. Semi sweet finish. Very nicely balanced.

Served in teku. Colour is deep orange with copper highlights, very thick and frothy white head. Aroma is very balanced, quite malty with distinct piney and floral hops, great mix. Although a bit pinching. Its surprisingly oily in the beginning and sweet of course, then rapidly bitter, but not overwhelming. Lots of grassy and herbal hints. The initial taste is outstanding, you could mistake it as a ris with closed eyes for a second. Long and bitter finish. Truly great imperial IPA.
