3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Dark yellow/brown pour with a small white head. Malty aromas. Again, this bad boy is way past its prime. All kinds of malty notes. Shadows of the spices and yeasty notes that’s at have dominated this beer. Average body and mouthfeel.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from a trade. Had at my Saison tasting (from notes). Pours a cloudy orange with a modest head and lots of floaties. Nose was spicy with some citrus sweetness. Taste was still lively for it’s age, with orange peel and an earthy minerality on the tongue. Finished nicely with a fruity, dry aftertaste and lingering yeast flavors. Glad I got to try this one...

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I’m told this bottle is an older one. Orange with a large amount of intense spices, and light to moderate fruity esters. sweet sugary malts in the nose along with some touches of oxidation. Flavor is oxidized and extremely spice with a semi fruity crisp finish. Finish is dry and mouthfeel is spritzy. Not too bad but would be good fresh. Thanks Jcr!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours golden orange with a decent white head. Has some very light sweet notes and a bit of decent funk, the saison yeast comes through well. The flavor is dominant saison yeast, a bit sweet and funky. Not complex, smooth on a medium body.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle from hopscotch- thanks, Eric! Original bottling. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a big off-white head. Nice barnyard funk on the aroma along with straw, grass, and some alcohol that sits in the nostrils late. Flavor of barnyard funk, apricots, sugar, sweet malts, earth, and dry grains. Light-medium bodied, with a dry, funky mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Some oxidation starting to show. Pairs well with Whole Foods 365 Lemon Poppyseed Scones (thanks, sneagrams3!).
