JohnnyJ (1283), Carlsbad, California, USA Nov 9, 2009 Pours a clear orange/gold white slightly off-white head. I had this side by side with the SPA, and this aroma was more muted, hops and cirus. The flavor was more pungent hop bitterness, sharp citris and grapefruit, pine, and some bready malt. Fresh and clean IPA. travita (1861), Frisco, Texas, USA Nov 9, 2009 The look is bright orange colored, nice off white colored head, and clear. The taste is caramel, pine, hops, some bitterness, nice. satan165 (541), River Grove, Illinois, USA Nov 8, 2009 huge aroma of hops that manifests as strong lemon and fresh cut kentucky blue. appearance is light for style, straw yellow with a very light haze. flavor is huge lemon and subtle tangerine sweetness punctuated with a turtlehead of bready malts. this is deciedly not fresh, 45 days old minimum...but i wonder if that wonderful bready note (and subsequent balance) would have existed in its freshest capacity?
