Bomber. Hazy off orange color with medium white head. Aroma is dominated by hops of strong grapefruit and grass. Flavor of grass and citrus fruit, fairly earthy, grapefruit really comes out in taste. Medium bitter finish, somewhat dry.

16 oz draft on tap at Bavarian Lodge (Lisle, IL). Pours a highly hazed meon orange gold, thick, opaque, with a decent offwhite head that laces well, stays fairly big. Aromas are lemon forward, grapefruit and floral behind it, faint pine. Pretty hoppy overall, citrusy. Initial is lighter side of medium, very hoppy with lemon, then grapefruit, lemonheads, a bit sweet overall, but fairly fresh. Just a touc underbodoed, but for a harvest ale, a full display of hops, completely forgiven, as lemon, grapefruit, and flowers take precedence. Fairly acidic, sweet, lemon rind very prominent. Good, not the best Harvest, but not because of it’s dispaly of hops.. Moreso because all it displays is hops.. Nothing else and not much else of a balance.

Amazingly crisp fresh hop taste. Nose is divine hop and pine and citrus. Love it!

Pours a murky cloudy orange with a medium fluffy white head. Huge pine hop aroma with hints of citrus, very fresh.

22oz bomber from K&L Redwood City. Pours a hazy golden color with a two-finger white head that fades to spotty foam resembling bacterial colonies on a petri dish (appetizing, right?). Great lacing, leaving rings on the glass. Aroma is lots of fresh floral and citrusy hops, grapefruit, orange peel, and grass. Flavor is similarly nice with sweet pale malt and a little caramel malt, honey, and huge quantities of hops. Mostly citrusy and floral; lots of rough orange and grapefruit. Definitely some Simcoe in there, which Port seems to like using. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel in the beginning and middle that leads into a palate-wrecking bitter fresh hop finish. Great fresh hop IPA overall.

Pours a very hazy toasted orange to golden yellow, depending on which side of the light it’s on. The color reminds me of a hefe. Comes with a large white head that lasts and leaves lots of lacing. The aroma is wonderful...apricot!?!?, orange, grapefruit, citrus, dirty Simcoe, and a bit of caramel malt. Great flavor of fresh hops. Earthy, floral, and herbacious hops with complementary malt at first. The finish is fruitier and more citric, with a lot more hops present, but suprisingly still sweet. The sweetness eventually fades leaving a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Very well balanced. Absolutley superb. One of the best ipa’s I’ve had.

Don’t know if I got a bad bottle of this or just not used to it but....aroma was really off. Barnyard and cat piss. Pours a cloudy golden with foamy head. It actually grew on me after that but ...that aroma really ruined it for me.

Bottle from BOLTZ7555. The aroma is that nice west coast hoppy smell I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of, lemon, grapefruit, orange peel. Dirty gold color. Big fluffy off-white head with lots of sticky lacing. Crisp and bitter hop flavors that pick up where the aroma leaves off. Overall a bit herbal with some soft malt underneath the citrusy hops. Really juicy, drinkable and refreshing. Well done. Thanks Jason!
