uklar orange farve med et flot hvidt skum. Dufter af gode amerikanske humler, græs, citrus, grapefrugt og lidt bagegær. Smager at grapefrugt, humle og en anelse bagegær. God eftersmag af humle.

(Bottle) Pours slight hazy, golden orange with a small white head. The aroma is medium hoppy and light malty with tones of fresh citrus/lemon peel, wet flowers, black tea, grass, pepper, light tropical, peach, black currant candy and some toast. Strange notes of cucumber. The nose is quite mild for being a west coast IPA (typical wet/fresh hopped). Some wet stone. The flavour is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with tones of flowers, grapefruit, lemon peel, black tea and some toast. The finish is peppery and lingering bitter with tones of pine, resin and even more grapefruit. The mouthfeel is clean with a medium carbonation. Medium bodied.

22oz bomber. This one consisted of mainly citrus and floral scents and a strong citrus taste. This brew was a bit piney, but limited. Nice palate and smooth drinkability rounds out this strong IPA.

22oz bomber from Capones given to me by my lovely wife as a Christmas present. Aroma is excellent, all citrus and pine hops, slight toffee and caramel malt undertones. Pours a clear golden oragne with an average to slightly small white bubbly head. Medium to thinner bodied with average to light carbonation and only an average bitter finish compared to the huge hop aroma. Original flavor is lots of citrus and floral hops but some piney resin and cereal grain malts help round out the flavor. This is a great example of what people are tlaking about when they say a "well balanced IPA", Weyerbacher take some notes here.

(New Year’s Eve tasting Flight (1 of 3) Pours a very large frothy foam head. A bit more than I really like to see first time out of the glass. Aroma of fresh Cascade hops very obvious. Wonderful aroma. Slight cloud to the beer. Not huge, but a little. Golden color. Great flavor. Had to look up what the characteristics are of Simcoe hop. Says its pine resiny, which is prevelant in the aftertase. Since Ledger’s Liquors, in Berkeley, can get this on a nearly regular basis this may be added to my normal stable of beers.

Bottle. Golden with a small head. Aromas are floral and woody with lots of pine. Peppery with grapefruit. Flavours are Autumn fruit with very bitter grapefruit and pine. Woody, dry and very resinous pine. Very peppery with warming alcohol.. The aftertaste clings to the palate with all its might. A hoppy one trick wonder but still very good.

Bottle. High, creamy, lasting white and lovely head. Hazy thick looking milky orange body. Nutty fruity hoppy aroma. Fresh hops bitterness, apple pear notes, good strong and long bitter aftertaste. Low carbonation.
