Those hoppy beers over there are so much better than we produce on the east coast. The aroma was perfect. As soon as I cracked the bottle, a huge green wave of hops hit me. Very piney and resiny with alomost a marijuana-ness to it. Pour was a nice light gold with a one finger white head. Taste was all planty hops with a drying bitter aftertaste. Aroma has citrus (grapefruit mostly) hops, pineapple and some fruity sweetness. Taste is as for aroma with some balancing malts, creamy, thirst quenching with a long hoppy bitter finish. Medium to full bodied. Very drinkable. Great stuff. kevin62 (267), New Jersey, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 24, 2008 Nice golden pour with great head and retention on the glass. Obvious citrus fruity hop aromas as well as green apple and pineapple notes. Slightly puckering body, but not overwhelming. Rounded mouthfeel a little bit, which helps to deomnstrate the balance shown with a smoothed out creaminess. The piney citrusy and warming hops presence provides a quehnching taste. I liked this one. Pours golden moving to a very slight amber colour with a slight haze and large white head. This is punishingly dry and hoppy at first with a bitterness that clings to the back and roof of your mouth like an obstinate stalacmite. There is a sweetness to this beer, but this is slapped down by a youve been tangoed burst of grapefruit complete with pith, crikey its tangy. This is a very good beer. A7 A4 F7 P4 OV15 3.7
