| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 13, 2009 I brought this back from Arizona. Pours a cloudy orange color. Aroma is unreal. Juicy rich citrus, sweet caramel malt, more citrus...orange, lemon, grapefruit. Flavor is so juicy and hoppy. Bitter, but not in a bad way, in fact this is one of the best IPA’s I have ever had. smith4498 (872), Miami, Florida, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 13, 2009 bottle, 5.99. Oh my goodness, the first Port product to blow me away. This is simply an excellent West Coast IPA. Brilliant grapefruit, bubble gum, yuzu on the nose. Palate is light and mildly creamy, in general very clean so as to support the flavors without intruding. Flavor blasts with hops from start to finish. Yet instead of being overwhelmingly bitter, leafy, or otherwise uncomfortable, High Tide retains the delicacy of glorious American hop varietals. So clean and delicious! Finishes with moderate bitterness, certainly not on the same level as other bitter IPAs, such as Green Flash’s. Beautiful beer, really, deserves to be mentioned along with other revered IPAs such as Sculpin, Furious, and Pliny. 17thfloor (1453), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 12, 2009 2009 on draft at Sheffield’s. Pours a slightly syrupy rich clear glowing golden with basically no head. Aroma is very juicy, super peachy hops, very sweet and fragrant, addicting. Flavor follows, crisp bitter hops, super juicy like white grape juice, just as sweet though too, grapefruit, very bitter also, two dimensional but quite good. Flat sugary body on the verge of being syrupy. I like it. jeremytoni (1091), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 12, 2009 From a bottle poured a amber color with a small head. Nice strong piney hoppy flavor with a lasting aftertaste. JohnnyJ (1309), Carlsbad, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 9, 2009 Pours a clear orange/gold white slightly off-white head. I had this side by side with the SPA, and this aroma was more muted, hops and cirus. The flavor was more pungent hop bitterness, sharp citris and grapefruit, pine, and some bready malt. Fresh and clean IPA. travita (1902), Frisco, Texas, USA
