| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 21, 2008 Updated: Jan 3, 2009Bottle shared by a local. Poured a hazy bright orange color with a moderate off-white head that left some nice lacing. Aroma of fresh, leafy, piny, resiny hops with some moderate citrus (orange, tangerine, apricot, peach). Smooth, lightly sweet entry with some soft caramel and a moderate citrus character (orange and grapefruit) that leads into a leafy, floral hoppiness with some resinuous, lightly piny flavor with a lingering hoppiness. Moderate carbonation, full on the palate. One of the better single IPA’s I have tried. nbutler11 (741), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Pours a shiny orange color from the bomber with a creamy white head. Smells and tastes of balanced helpings of mild hops, aromatic flowers, and baking flour. An odd combination, but it’s easily one of the best IPAs I’ve had. jazz88 (2236), San Francisco, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 21, 2008 Bottle. A bright yellow orange color with a foamy white head. A strong citrus, orange, grapefruit, grass, and fresh hop aroma that ultimately gives way to a better flavor. A quick sharp bitter bite, lightly spiced and grassy with a nice citrus finish. thickfreakness (130), AUSTIN, Texas, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 21, 2008 Pours hazy pale amber with a nice lasting head. Aroma is huge pine, fresh grapefruit and just plain old fresh green hops. Delicious. Flavor is tons of pine, grapefruit, and floral hops. Not much malt to eb seen here which is just what I want in a harvest ale which should showcase the HOPS! Nice and dry with a medium body. Great beer. brianprentiss (473), Portland, Oregon, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a slight creamy head. There’s also several floaters in the bottle. Aroma of heavy hops, Simcoe are detectable. Other citrus hops are noticable as well. Some other fruit aromas are there as well, most noticable is apple. Taste is also very hop forward, with more Simcoe and bitter citrus hops. Malt backing is minimal. Finish is obviously bitter. Mouth is full and dry. Overall, a nice wet harvest brew.
