twitcher (293), framingham, Massachusetts, USA Jun 2, 2008 (from notes) Average copper color appearance, Dank, sticky aromas, and a pile of well done hops. Superbly hoppy, not overdone on bittering hops, unique and interesting hop character full of heady citric and resinous notes. zathrus13 (1288), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA May 31, 2008 Pours hazy gold, with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit hops, pine, and some sugary sweetness. Flavor is wonderful fresh hops, with some malt and caramel. Ends slightly bitter. highly enjoyable. JorisPPattyn (5155), Antwerpen, Belgium May 29, 2008 Beautiful lace from just off-whtie head, hazy pale-orange beer. Grapefruit, and sucade fruit, fresh C-hops but not overwhelming. Beautiful real yellow grapefruit flavour, very fresh and mild-bitter. Wow, this is great, as it gives freshness, even when aged a bit. Quite carbonated, even titillating MF, medium bodied. Great hoppy beer, having kept up great. Many thanks to Dirk & Leen hellomynameis (794), Mayer, Minnesota, USA May 27, 2008 Very aromatic, even as soon as you open the bottle. Lots of floral and citrus hops, appealing. Dark orange and cloudy, not filtered! Lots of malts at first with a very nice bitter hop finish. Finishess quickly without any linger bitterness. Makes it a very nice session IPA. AgentSteve (1334), SF Bay Area, California, USA May 25, 2008 Updated: May 26, 2008Bottle shared by Taverner, pours hazy pale orange with almost no head. Nose is ganj like hops. The flavor is quite mouth puckering bitter, with a smooth nutty finish. Taverner (827), San Ramon, California, USA May 11, 2008 Updated: Jan 2, 2009After popping the top I could smell the floral notes flowing out of the bottle. I love this IPA. Full of hops, fresh hops, with their characteristic spiciness and floral notes. This is a hop bomb for the hop lover. It’s a little bland on the aftertaste - but that’s ok. Pours hazy golden with thin white head. SECOND ANALYSIS: This is hands down, the best Harvest IPA you can get. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA May 2, 2008 Thanks to the ever dapper <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID=17831>magicbill for the pours - It poured a hazy golden orange with a bubbling off-white head. The aroma was intense with sharp grapefruit, lemon zest, a bit of pine... and had a suggestion that sweet caramel lay underneath it all. Very nicely unbalanced flavor to this hop-head, almost tasting like a DIPA. The finish was a prolonged citric bitterness with a few shakes of pepper.
