Cloudy orange, big foamy whiate head. Big sticky piney resiny hop nose. Huge hop flavors up front, nice mix of citrusy grapefruit and resiny spruce. Very earthy, sticky, and long aftertaste.

22 oz. bottle - big white head; yellow body and slightly carbonated upon pouring; killer nose that is big time hops; too bitter though as its missing the thick malt flavors of the wipeout

Huge fresh citrus and pine with herbal notes as well. Gold color with lasting white head and great lacing. This is a San Diego IPA through and through. Straight bitter. Pine and grapefruit are the strongest hops noticable with some herbal earth and lemon. Not alot of malt backbone. Not too heavy. Long lasting dry bitterness. Awesome with spicy food. This might be my favorite San Diego IPA!

Bomber (Trade with ib4ib, Thanks!) Aroma has a really pungent hop aroma. Lemon, grapefruit, orange, and pineapple scent intermingle in the aroma to really make it have a almost fruit drink like aroma. Pours a hazy orange with a long lasting fluffy white head. Flavor is nicely bitter with the hoppy grapefruit taste coming to the forefront then rounding out to a more acidic lemon taste in the aftertaste. Nicely bitter and surprisingly pungent. Overall, This is a really drinkable and enjoyable IPA in my honest opinion. Not as pungent as the Impy cousin but this stuff just tastes good. Cheers!

Floral tropical fruit nose with a touch of sweet malt poking thru. Grassy and herbal palate, very oily and resinous. The hops pull every last drop of moisture out of you. Mildly sweet and herbal finish.

Pours orangy-gold and clear, with a modest half-finger head of white. Some spotting of lacework remained for the duration, as well as a whispy coating on the surface. Aromatics are pungently floral, with plenty of tropical fruit and resinous dew. Definately showing off the distinct grassy, sweet, oily hop profile found in fresh hop ales. Mouthfeel is medium and very crisp. Drying and mildly stinging from the bitterness, albeit very smooth. The pallet is juicy and sticky, with plenty of drying crispness and sappy resin. Very light malt and well attenutated, with alcohol that starts to warm, but in check enough keep the brew from being a full fledged IIPA. Plenty of tangerine, grapefruit zest, and lupulin powder. Damn tasty and extremely quaffable, and the restrained bitterness and alcohol keep you coming back for more. At $9.00 per 22oz bottle though, (which is like a $27.00 six pack) it will not be a repeat purchase.

Poured from a 22 oz. Thick blonde pour. Fresh, spicy aromas of coriander and mint, wet and lively, in front. Caramel, pineapple, creme brulee and touches of burnt popcorn underneath. Flavors of peach skins, white pepper, dandelion, and bold bitterness that has a pure citrus rind character. Resinous it is not, though certainly dripping with wet tropical hoppiness. Palate is creamy, medium bodied, with spritzy carbonation. Orange juice, rind, and explosive bitterness, sparking and expanding with bold strength. Kissed with the extreme sweet tang of nectarine. Lovely. Thanks for sharing, Ryan!

22oz bottle, courtesy of artusory. Thanks, Ryan! Pours a murky, yellowish-brown color; off-white head with patchy lacing. Pleasant, resiny wet hops in the aroma (passion fruit, minerals); resiny and sticky without being overly bitter. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: viscous, sticky hoppiness that follows the nose; plenty of floral and citrus wet hop character; tempered sugar and doughy malts underneath. Lengthy, bitter citrus and mineral finish; plenty of dough.
