22 oz bomber from bottle shop in Philly - pale hazy yellow - lighter in color than I expecter, but the aroma and taste are excellent. big hop presence and great flavor. One of the best fresh hop IPAs I have had. Highly recommended.

pours a very unattractive yellowy brown with a thin white head and some yeasty cloudiness. aroma is caramel, malty iced tea, sweet citrus juice, pineapple and grapefruit hops.fresh ’green’ flavor is everything in the aroma without the sweetness. citrus skin hop bitterness and black pepper with some lingering pine. it’s balanced....but definitely leaning hard on the hops. medium to full bodied, nice and dry with a prickly mouth feel. finally, an IPA that isn’t sweet and doesn’t hurt my teeth

Golden-orange in color, with a nice fluffy white head. Lacing is sticky and resinous. Smell is wonderful. Reminds me of AleSmith IPA and Deschutes Hop Trip. Raw, sweet, citrusy hops blossom out of the glass. Taste, as I’ve found it to often be with wet hop IPAs, is a bit of a letdown after the perfect aroma. Still pretty good, with a tart grapefruit quality and notes of orange and pineapple. Malt manifests as a sweet toasty caramel flavor but is shortlived as the hops dominate. Nicely carbonated and appropriate medium-thin body. Finish is a bit sticky from all those hop compounds. Bitterness pleasantly lingers. Smooth and with a nice sweet/bitter dynamic, this is pretty easy to drink.

I brought this back from Arizona. Pours a cloudy orange color. Aroma is unreal. Juicy rich citrus, sweet caramel malt, more citrus...orange, lemon, grapefruit. Flavor is so juicy and hoppy. Bitter, but not in a bad way, in fact this is one of the best IPA’s I have ever had.

I had the chance to help bottle this one and get a super fresh pint. Huge thanks Tomme. Hazy bright orange beer with a perfect 2 finger head that leaves lacing for days. . Super piney, grapefruit and sweet malt. This thing smells awesome fresh. Nice mild bitter hop profile with a great citrus tang. You can feel the hop resin in this one coat your mouth. Perfect carbonation and mouth feel. One of the best fresh hop beers out there. It was a pleasure to bottle this one and be able to smell this one all day. On a side note, I was there when they pulled the hop sacks out of the tank and was floored by the smell. WOW!

bottle: Full aroma of classic signature west coast hop overpowering the nose. All citrus of grapefruit and orange with fresh mosit and danky hops defining the smell in more indepth detail. The same story is described as the flavor which dominates with fresh hop and everything i love in an ipa. Appearance is a golden ale with sediment floating about. Soapy and sticky head.

I scored a growler of this at the Angel’s Share release 11/10/07. Pours out a light orange color with a thin white head over top. Upon cracking the seal of this beer you get overwhelmed with citrus smells, even before helping yourself to a glass. As I was saying, aroma is the biggest smack of grapefruit and pine resin you can think of, a beautiful and inviting smell. This stuff tastes so clean of hops. Wow, obviously grapefruit domninates but if you take a second to explore..... pine sap followed by a hint of sugar and vanilla. This is one hell, of and IPA. Fairly modest alcohol makes it very drinkable for anyone who loves hops, and don’t let me fool you this one is all about the hops.
