Transfer from BA review on 3-30-12 - Served in a 10 oz chalice glass Appearance – The body is a lighter golden color with a little bit of haze. Upon serving it had a light white heat that faded very slowly over time, giving way to a moderate amount of lacing. Smell – The smell was largely grapefruit and pine hop in nature. A bit of bready maltiness was also detected in the nose but it was quite light. Taste – The taste was of citrus and pine hops up front and was mixed with a more biscuit backbone. Some earthy hop tastes work their way into the flavor more toward the middle. Toward the end the earthiness fades way to a great deal of bitter pine and citrus (mainly of grapefruit flavor). This flavor is very potent and leaves it mark on the tongue long after is gone from the mouth. Mouthfeel – Medium bodied with an average level of carbonation. Rather normal and nothing special. Overall - I was not too impressed with the beer overall. I think there are much more affordable IPA’s of similar stature that actually have a better flavor profile as this one leaves a little too much of the grapefruit citrus hop flavor on the tongue.

Tasty IPA. With that nice strong taste of hops that American brewers can do so well. Good one.

Clear orange body with an average white head. Fruity citrus, grapefruit, peach, caramel. Sweet taste with medium bitterness. Aftertaste is more bitter. Very light and refreshing. Maybe not bitter enough for an IPA but personally I prefer it.

Mango, grass...hops. Bitter, aromatic, with a sticky hoppiness at the end. Very nice and fresh.

Let, frisk og let drikkelig øl med frugt og citrus smagsnoter og lidt flygtig eftersmag, hvor bitterheden desvære aldrig rigtig træder i karakter [APK: 6.5]

Bottle from BrewDog mail order. Poured a slightly hazy golden, with a dense white head. Aroma of apricot, perfume and straw. Bitter initial flavours of grass and tart grapefruit, balanced with some toasted malt. Finish was incredibly dry, with hop resin, pine needles and lemongrass. It worked nicely, but balance was clearly not the aim of this hop-bomb.

1 pint 6 fl oz bottle. Bottled 10/07/13. Pours a yellow-orange golden amber colour with a creamy thick white foam head leaving some lacing and aroma of tropical fruit, passionfruit, mango, melon, mandarin. Taste is malt caramel nicely balanced against a fruity hop bitterness with notes of mango, melon, mandarin, orange, grapefruit, pine, spice, resin. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, lightly spicy lingering dry hop resin bitter finish. Very drinkable IPA.
