3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From bottle to glass. Overt citrus aroma with a solid malt backbone to blend well and not just make it a hop bomb. Malt is white bread and yeast is also apparent. Hazy pale orange with a full white head that lingers. Taste is citrus and a little pine. Some resiny attributes and moderate bitterness throughout the back half. Finishes quickly and slightly dry, but a juiciness is retained in the tongue that is like fresh squeezed lemon and orange.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Piney. pissy citrus aroma, very familiar but good welcome nonetheless. Glowing golden yellow, moderate carbonation. Ringing bitter hop taste that sweet yet more easterly resinous towards finish. A real tar pit in that sense. Exceptionally crisp. Combines several heavy handed hoppy traits. Bottled 10/11/12, so not as fresh as Iíd like.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance was clear orangish gold with lasting creamy white 2 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are citrus fruit galore with some pine and slight sweet malt backing. Taste are lemon, orange, grapefruit, pine resin and lime with light sweet backbone of malts. Palate was creamy smooth CO2 with medium-light body, then the lasting citrusy piney hopbomb finish. Wow luphin delight finish. A tad too much pine resin, great fresh hop IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Oasis Micropub. Thick, unfiltered orange-tan. Frothy white head. Big citrus hop edge...orange, lemon, really earthy and tropical. One of the best Fresh Hop IPAs Iíve had in some time. Very drinkable, with that smooth lemon-lime edge. Great beer, very sessionable while bursting with flavor.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice bright fresh hop flavors. Lacks much depth of flavor and balance and is light bodied. Finishes thin sweet and floral. Not GREAT but a really nice option for a normal IPA.

Pour from bottle at Bolsa Chica State beach. Pours amber with off white head. Delicious fresh hoppy taste with a citrus note. Great IPA

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 bomber into a solo cup. Massive white head that fades quickly. Clear orange pour. Smell is cat piss, resin, and some grapefruit. Taste is slight pine, muted tropical fruits. Clean finish. Decent, but I bet this was better fresh.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer reminds of a home brew and I am not sure that is a complement. Totally unfiltered and you can see the hops floating around. My bottle had huge carbonation and had a ton of yeast on the bottom. Perhaps this accounts for the somewhat home nature. Resin aroma you would expect with CTZ, but I didnít get a lot of Simcoe. Pretty thin in body and not a lot of malt going on. This was decent, but a touch disappointing.

Bottle. Pours golden with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, floral hops, fruitiness, peach and pine. Flavor is sweet and fruity with some bitterness and peach. Medium body, average carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 22oz. Itís lighlty hazy, orange-golden in color and with a rocky, pillowy white head leaving some lacings. The aroma is a tad boring, but nice though. Pale malts in the back, with orange peel and some pine cones. Nice indeed, but rather boring, and that goes for the flavor too. Thereís a nice bitterness going on, all the way, with lots of citrus peel. Guess it would be nicer all fresh, as itís now I find it sort of boring. 131214
