Poured a hazy straw color with a creamy head. Excellent head retention and lacing. Sweet, juicy wet hop aroma. Nicely balanced taste - hop flavor but not too bitter. Clean finish.

Bottle at craft ale house. Pours clear yellow with a small white head and a lot carbonation. The aroma Is very clean with a nice grassy aroma. The taste is nice and clean with more hop flavor than bitterness.

chanokokoro (138) - Illinois, USA - NOV 26, 2012
Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a stemmed cervoise glass. Pours a hazy medium gold capped by a fluffy two finger bright white head. Excellent retention and a ton of lacing that very nearly coats the entire inside of the glass. A bunch of tropical notes on the nose dominated by pineapple, mango, and a touch of papaya. The taste follows the nose; pineapple and tropical fruit, sweet malt with just a touch of caramel, and finishes with juicy grapefruit and grapefruit rind bitterness. Medium bodied with adequate carbonation, oily, sticky resiny mouthfeel. A solid fresh hop IPA, but it tends to be a bit fruitier and sweeter than I usually prefer, however it’s perfect for those that prefer those characteristics in their IPA’s.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled 10/2/2012. Pours lightly hazy bright golden amber color with a very nice 2-3 finger fluffy white head with incredible retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pineapple, orange zest, grapefruit, lemon, citrus rind, grass, floral, herbal, and light piney spiciness. Fantastic aromas with great hop complexity and balance; very dank smelling. Taste of pineapple, orange zest, lemon zest, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, bread, and herbal spiciness. Fair amount of piney bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, citrus zest, floral, grass, citrus rind, pine, bread, and herbal spiciness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice hop flavor balance and complexity; nice malt/bitterness balance; hardly any cloying hop bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a sticky, smooth, and crisp mouthfeel that is very nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an awesome wet hop IPA! Great dank hop complexity and balance; very smooth and crisp to sip on. A highly enjoyable offering.

Scipio (490) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - NOV 26, 2012
Pours a clear, yet very bright yellow with a big frothy white head. Aroma is floral hops, grass, lemon, pine, and light grapefruit. Good, but not as robust as I was hoping. Taste contains pine, lemon, and grass. It isn’t very complex. It is very dry with tons of carbonation. Aftertaste is a piney bitterness. My IPA hoppy kick that I look for is mostly nonexistent. I admit that I was looking for much more in this one. Instead, I think its pretty simple and not very creative.

The hops are the story with this beer. Pours a cloudy orange with a thin head. Citrus, pine, grass, extremely fresh, burst out. The flavor is also all hops with just a touch of sweetness to help balance things. Bitter, dry refreshing finish.

This IS a fresh hop IPA but was a bit too ciitrus/grassy for me. I let it warm a bit and started to taste a little more green hopiness. Poured a cloudy "hay" color that had the aroma of what it looked like. I really wanted a couple good cheeses to go with this beer... Very clean finish that didn’t linger. I would only drink this again if I paired it with food.

Draft at village tap. Yellow and clear pour with lacy and frothy head. Good lemon zest aroma. Very smooth. Mild hops and a little bitter. Good citrus and floral taste. Wonderful
