UPDATED: JAN 2, 2009 After popping the top I could smell the floral notes flowing out of the bottle. I love this IPA. Full of hops, fresh hops, with their characteristic spiciness and floral notes. This is a hop bomb for the hop lover. Itís a little bland on the aftertaste - but thatís ok. Pours hazy golden with thin white head. SECOND ANALYSIS: This is hands down, the best Harvest IPA you can get.

Thanks to the ever dapper <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID=1 for the pours -
It poured a hazy golden orange with a bubbling off-white head. The aroma was intense with sharp grapefruit, lemon zest, a bit of pine... and had a suggestion that sweet caramel lay underneath it all. Very nicely unbalanced flavor to this hop-head, almost tasting like a DIPA. The finish was a prolonged citric bitterness with a few shakes of pepper.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2010 (Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of fordest. Pours a hazy golden with an off-white head. Fat, intense aroma of citrus and peach. Medium-bodied with very fresh and fruity accents. The finish is dry and bitter. An exemplary IPA. 190408 and 060610

Pours a nice gold in color with a nice half inch head sitting atop. Smell is grapefruit, citrusy hops. And I like it. Taste is more balanced, but thereís a very nice citrusy finish. Strikes me as a subdued, Hopslamís little brother due to the amount of juiciness thatís coming through. Good beer thatís too easy to drink.

Bottle pours a cloudy golden color with a fluffy white head. Head lasts a long time and laces the glass as you drink it. Smells of pine and grapefruit emmanate from the glass. Tastes like grapefruit, grass, some pine, and goes down with a sweetnees from the malt that makes it a solid IPA.

Bottle. Pours a lightly hazy gold with big white head. The aroma on this is fantastic, not sweet nor bitter but loaded with green smells along with citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor was balanced between a light maltiness and a medium bitterness, but overall just supremely loaded with fresh green hoppiness. Citrusy at times with grapefruit but also some pine and woody flavors to boot along with some light spice and pepper. Super hoppy without a dominating bitterness or lingering sweetness this one goes down fast for me.

Blind tasting at Papsoes place, another great session, thanks Henrik! Beer #21: Pours hazy yellow with a lacing white head. Grapefruity, orange and light citric hops aroma. Flavour is dry hoppy and light peachy fruity/sweet in addition. Light peachy hops flavour and sweetness into the finish. Crisp and light fruity hops. Nice.

This oneís all about the nose!!! Floral notes with Douglas Fir, ripe grapefruit, and even a bit of sweetness. 14 karat gold with a nice creamy white head that leaves significant lacing all the way down the side of the glass. Missing it a bit in the flavor, however...all bitter hops and very little to balance it out. A very tasty beer but Iíve had tastier.
