4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cloudy orange color with amazing head and lacing. Perfect amount of hops with the malt sweetness playing along nicely. Not watery or metallic. Has a stand up flavor that is earthy and sweet and hoppy. A bit soapy but totally worth it!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Large white head, excellent retention, starts out normally then turns into a rocky inviting lump. Lacing is coating. Clear gold color. Fruity nose of citrus, grapefruity and peachy. Medium bodied, lightly oily on the palate. Pleasent fruit flavors, citrus, nicely tropical and melony with some caramel maltiness hanging in there. An almost dry fruity finish, good hop bite. Thanks to dirty_martini and SDbruboy for bombers of this groovy elixer. Thanks guys!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks to WeeheavySD for this one. Pours out a cloudy light orange color with a two to three finger thin and foamy head. Aroma is of pine and citrus hops. Taste is nice and hoppy with citrus and pine hops coming through, not many malts flavors going on, maybe a slight backbone. Nice bitter bite comes through on the finish. Solid...

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thanks to dirty martini. Orange pour, small white head. Aroma is awesome huge citrus hops, orange and grapefruit. Flavor is same citrus hops. A big fresh leafy teast. Bitterness is semi high and works well with this basially hop juice. Thin mouthfeel and low on malts but high on carbonation. One-dimensional but it is what it is a straight IPA.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz. bottle. Poured hazy orange with fluffy white head. Extensive lacing. Fresh cut oranges and lemons in the nose. Sharp, bitter finish. Very good, but not quite as good as other harvest ales.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber tasted December 9th.
Pours a fairly light gold with a nice white head that fades fairly slowly and leaves a rich foamy lace along the sides of the glass. Huge candied grapefruit aroma, immensely juicy, just the faintest hint of skunk on the early pre-sip . Flavor is pretty straight-forward; no malt presence to speak of here, just the bittering grapefruit rind hops which come in best late. That’s fine, but it leaves the first half of the flavor profile tasting rather mild and watered down. Mouthfeel is slightly on the thin side, adding to the watered-down sensation.
I’d like to try this one fresh on tap. Here in the bottle, a couple of months old at least, it’s not as exceptional as I might have hoped.

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2008 22 oz bottle thanks to a trade with lb4lb. Pours a hazy orange with a beige head. Nose and flavor show that it is very fresh. Juicy hops, lots of fruit. Grapefruit, tangerine, pine, lemon citrus, caramel. With a juicy hop bite that finishes floral/piney. A little sweet but balanced well. Really refreshing. 8/4/8/4/15 = 3.9
Bottle from Kan Presents: Fresh Hops - a blind tasting. Pours a clear yellow hay color with a white soapy head. Fresh aroma, citrus, juicy floral hops. Pale malts, citrus, grapefruit, with pine and grassy. Bitterness that is grassy and tasty. 8/3/8/3/15 = 3.7

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Capones, Sampled with Stegosaurus. A hazy orange pour with a definite up front hop aroma followed with some citrusy notes. A mild malty taste followed but floral pine. A little thin in the mouth but balanced ok. I enjoyed it.
