Draft. Amber beer with no head. Fresh citrus/grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit flavor with astringent malts. Lingering grassiness and grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Some sweetness as you get through it. I had this as 6.3% and finished with Chinook/Centennial.

Tap, OíBrienís. Pours a medium golden color. Looks like a lighter IPA. Only a hint of orange. Strong piney hop aroma. Slight sweetness upfront with only mild bitterness. A little graininess. Low carbonation giving a smooth mouthfeel. Finish is quite bitter.

Cloudy, amber/orange appearance with a small white head. Aroma was on the sweet side, with a bit of lemon and other citrus poking through. Resinous, hoppy, moderately bitter taste. Distinguished because it was wet-hopped and served super fresh at a recent local beer tasting. Dry, somewhat acidic, finish.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2006 Decent IPA. The fact that itís made with harvest warrior hops is kind of unique, as is the beer itself (least it was when I rated it, guess itís changed now). Maybe a bit unbalanced toward bitterness. Tastes a lot like homebrew, hehe.

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2006 ReRate 8 Nov 2006:22oz bottle: It pours an opaque golden color with a thin white head. Huge hop aroma along with a nice, big hoppy flavor that does have a lot of balance.

Densely clouded golden appearance, thick head formation. Great fragrant aroma, piney, sweet tangerines and grapefruit. Sharp hoppy palate, unsweetened pink grapefruit and nectarine, very sour/bitter in the finish. Like eating a whole fresh grapefruit.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2005 Pale, hazzy yellow straw color with a dense, thick, foamy, lasting off-white head. Nose has salty hops, grass, grapefruit, pine resin, floral notes. Taste has seawater, salt, bitter hops up front. Then the palate opens up into some sour grass, grapefruit, spicey pepper, yeast, and plum. Tart flavor throughout with a nice fruity sweetness towards the end. Nice. Draught at RFDís 11/7/05: Well yet again, could not remember if I had rated this one previously. Whatís even more amazing is that I gave this one identical scores from the previous rating. Maybe Iím starting to know what Iím talking about? Who knows. The only thing that needs to be updated in the re-rate is that the head had excellent retention.
