This IPA pours an orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is floral and piney hops, with some malt sweetness. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are caramel and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and very citrusy, lots of herbal and piney hops as well. Lots of hop flavors, and most of the hop bitterness is in the finish. Lots of residual sweetness. Nicely balanced. Good carbonation. This is a nice winter IPA. The 7% alcohol is well hidden. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottled bomber. Very good offering here from Port Brewing, this place has some great beer. Nice big hop aroma with a very good pined up spruced up flavor. Good tangy citrus finish and well balanced, easy to drink, maybe to easy, damn, why did I only buy one??!?!?

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2009 cloudy oatmeal color with a ring of a head. Grapefruit orange and lemon nose. Lemon zest flavor that is doughy. The malt flavor mixes well. Slight burnt finish. 3 6 7 3 14 from the backlog: dark and yellow with a thin head. smells like rich yellow cake, creamy vanilla hop forward goodness.double ipa like taste without the over sweet flavor, or alcohol dominance. a tasty one that could be had in quantity. 3 10 7 5 17

A big, piney aroma. All citrus front with a piney bitterness. A fantastic beer. Not very complex, but very well crafted.

Picked up a bottle at BevMo. Poured a dark golden color, pretty much no head. Aroma was citrusy and fruity, smelled really nice. Flavor was great! Nice and fresh tasting, hoppy and smooth, light carbonation. A well done brew!

Bottle. Nose-big clean citrusy grape, fruity nose. Very nice nose. Taste-milky, medium bitter, watery, all hops with a low ,malt profile. Low palate points because of watery mouthfeel.

22-oz. bomber from FlacoAlto. Pours clear gold with virtually no head, but what is there is patchy white, mostly diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is average malt (meal, cereal), heavy hops (flowers, grass, soap), average yeast (sweat) with notes of sugar and pears. Long duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and harsh bitterness; soapy hop flavor with trace malt and yeast. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, slick texture and metallic finish.

Citric grapefruit on the nose. Bit watery in the mouthfeel. Flavour of orange and sap, a bit soapy.

Pour is golden yellow with a thin white head...smell is all pine and resin...taste was chewy and oily with pine, soap, resin...a slight nice residual sweetness that compensated for the herbal nature of the beer...
