COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First brewed in 2002 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the original Pizza Port location in Solana Beach, we searched high and low and combined 15 of our favorite hops which were added every 15 minutes to the boil. Somewhat darker than other Double IPA style beers, our beer oozes the hop goodness of pine needles, freshly squeezed citrus and ground spices which are only moderately tempered by a sweet malt finish. Thankfully, for all of us hopheads, we have decided to brew this beer more than once a year. Look for Hop 15 to make appearances from time to time when space permits us to brew this, one of our favorite ales.
Alcohol content varies. Spring 2012 batch is 11% ABV. Spring 2013 is 10%.

650ml bottle. Amber body with a medium white head. Huge fruity aroma. Tropical fruit, such as passionfruit, pineapple and citrus, and pine. A bit uneven but good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from systembolaget. Pours golden brownish with a nice big head. Nose is a splendid mixture of fruity aromas, with piney and citrusy tones heading out most. Mouth is sparkly and fizzy with a perfect bitterness for a dipa.

crazy hops in this one. poured out of a 22oz bottle. The aroma is not that strong, but the taste is like a hop explosion. like it a lot, just missing a strong finish. definitely worth a purchase and tasting.

Flaska från SB. Ljust gyllene med högt luftigt vitt skum. Fruktig doft med ananas och passionsfrukt. Kryddig smak med rejäl lång beska.

Bottle saveur bier. Hazy orange color, white head. Aroma is almost perfect, citrus, fresh hops. Taste is hoppy, some malty sweetness, little alcoholic. Maybe this is too fresh, little unbalanced.

Hazy, orange-yellow beer with a three finger high, white, head that leaves a lot of lacing on the glass.

Nose: Orange, citrus, grass, mandarin, orange marmelade, sweet malt, honey and grapefruit.
Taste: Boom! Citrus, hops, orange, grapefruit, tropical fruit, a LOT of hops!
Mouth: Full body with a great malty backbone. Sweetness and bitterness from the malt and hops. A high ABV (10%) that really doesen’t show but carries the taste right to your tounge - It’s fantastic!

As you can see - I’m in love! This is beatiful!

Hoppy smell that promises a bitter taste. Which is correct. Very dry bitterness with some sweet aftertaste. Extremely awesome.

Orange color with beautiful big white head. Aroma is a real hop bomb. Super fruity and piney, but also a hint of booze. Taste is very bitter and fruity, but also with a heavy body and residual sweetness. Lingering bitterness. A bit boozy. Still well balanced! Smooth mouthfeel. A very good Californian Imperial IPA!

@ Beer tasting, Havregatan 141206. Fruity and hoppy, citrus and grapefruits, sweet, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is bitter, hoppy and fruity with alcoholic notes.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy amber pour with a big fluffy off white head, tangerine and grapefruit aroma, taste has bitter grapefruit, sweet caramel, zest citrus, tangerine, some mango, this kind of bold assertively hopped DIPA is right up my street, glad it was a bomber.
