COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First brewed in 2002 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the original Pizza Port location in Solana Beach, we searched high and low and combined 15 of our favorite hops which were added every 15 minutes to the boil. Somewhat darker than other Double IPA style beers, our beer oozes the hop goodness of pine needles, freshly squeezed citrus and ground spices which are only moderately tempered by a sweet malt finish. Thankfully, for all of us hopheads, we have decided to brew this beer more than once a year. Look for Hop 15 to make appearances from time to time when space permits us to brew this, one of our favorite ales.
Alcohol content varies. Spring 2012 batch is 11% ABV.

On tap at the Falling Rock. Pours an apricot-copper color. Aroma of grapefruit, bitter hops. Significant head and lace. Significant carbonation and a biting mouthfeel. Flavors of grapefruit rind, bitter hops, cream of tartar, alcohol.

Pours a light copper straw colour with good frothy white head. The aroma has some fruity peach with loads of dank pine, resin, & grapefruit rind, followed by a deliciously oily smooth palate with more pine, resin, white pepper, & lemon zest. The finish is drying with returning hints of peach and delicious lingering grassy hops. This is a wonderfully agressive yet very drinkable DIPA: Outstanding!

Tasted on 5/12/13 from a capped 650mL bomber bottle purchased at AJ’s Mesa. Pours hazy but bright orange with a very thick white head that slowly recedes to thick and messy lace. The nose is very nice, dominated by pungent, but soft, floral and citrus pith hops with some caramel malt underlying, and just a touch of a tropical fruit aroma. The flavor is a bit more focused on the light bread caramel malt up front, moving to the floral and citrus pith hops and very nice bitterness. The body is full but not cloying with average, and nicely stinging, carbonation, and a long caramel malt and bitter floral hops finish. This is a top class IPA.

Bottle kindly shared at Kulminator by a friendly person of which I forgot the name/nick but thank you anyway. Pours deep yellow (slightly hazy) with a good creamy head. Nose is super rich exotic stone fruit and some citrus. Taste & body is incredibly full of gentle hoppy pine notes, peach, apricots and some citrus. Liked it a lot!

WTF.! I think I was just punched in the face by the beer gods. Among the best double IPAs experienced. Ridiculous foamy head and great lacing. Peppery citrus nose and a complex, malty finish. Upfront is floral citrus with a slight bitter back end. Luv it. Give me more!!!

pours a nice clear amber. Aroma of pine citrus and a touch of malt sweetness. Up front bitterness on the taste that gives was to some nice tangerine citrus.

On tap at Capone's in Norristown, PA. I have had some negative experiences with Port IPAs in the past, but this is a stupid good beer that completely overshadows any other experiences I have had with them. Get this now.

22 ounce bottle. Cloudy amber orange color topped by a large rocky beige head and a big clinging lace. Aroma is ripe mango, pine needles and grapefruit pith. Bittersweet toasted malt makes a brief appearance, but the huge burst of citrus hops quickly overtakes and dominates the flavor. Make no mistake, this is a real hop lovers dream; a lupelin lovefest. Surprisingly, the 11% alcohol does not overpower this DIPA. Finishes spicy and dry with an a stringently dry mouthfeel, in a good way. I loved this hop bomb from start to finish.

This dark gold cloudy beer pours with a rich thick full head. It's has a very citrusy aroma and smells really sweet like orange juice. It starts of with a big hoppy bite and finishes somewhat sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
