COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s not often that a great summer swell coincides with a full moon, but when they collide, nature affords us a rare opportunity to paddle out long after everyone has called it a day. These moments are a solitary pursuit with empty lineups, but those who carve graceful lines under a full moon understand how things can be dark lonely and rewarding at the same time. So next time you paddle in from an overcrowded beach break, remember that nothing tastes better than a cold beer after a session. We suggest a glass of this smooth roasty black lager for contemplating empty lineups and waves that go on for days. Most likely, you’ll long for epic summer swells under moon lit sessions opening the doors to isolation and empty secret spots of an age trying to pass us by.
Note: Formerly Midnight Sessions Lager.

On tap at Urban Family Public House, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma of sweet roasted malt and some bittersweet cocoa. Flavour is pretty subdued, with dry bitter cocoa, bready malts – pretty bland / flat, with no life / body. Whether this is the norm or not, I’m not sure. Disappointing stuff.

enjoyed at the final match day of the Primera Division: Barcelona - Valladolid
Very dark chestnut with a small, fizzy, cola-like head. Aroma has lovely notes of coffee, roasted malts, dark chocolate. Quite crisp. Medium carbonation, lovely dry and lightish mouthfeel. Flavour is elegantly balanced, very dry. Lots of coffee, hard roasted malts, muscovado sugar, dark chocolate. Long lasting, dry and fairly bitter aftertaste with some flowery hoppiness. Very nice.

from Erzbierschof.ch - black beer under a solid long lasting dark beige foam; nice lacework; very roasted aroma of mocha and ashes; a respectable malt backbone and a fair tart bitterness; very tasty palate; long and dry toasted coffeish aftertaste with more kingering notes of ashes - lot of character
