22 oz. bottle courtesy of agl108. Pours a bizarre gel-like orange/amber color with a big beige head and TONS of floaties. Lots of pungent resiny pine, grapefruits, juicy tangerines, ripe pineapples, lemons, and citrus rinds in the salivary gland-tingling aroma. Goes down full-bodied with a tongue-stinging crispness. Some light caramel and vanilla upfront taste-wise. Biscuity in the middle with a little rye bread. Oranges, grapefruits, and rinds at the end. Finishes quite dry. Just a bit of alcohol warmth on the backside. Pretty drinkable for a relatively big beer. Excellent!

This beer pours a dark orange, like a very ripe tangerine. A very thick looking beer that is hard to see through! A little bit of head on this one, but leaves lots of lacing on the glass. The smell is citrus, lots of tangerine and orange not so much grapefruit like I am use to smelling on strong IIpa’s. Has a nice bitter nose on it but a lot of sweetness is what I smell. The mouth feel is amazing, so thick with just enough carbonation. Like a perfectly ripe piece of fruit. With a strong bitter finish, very drinkable. Definitely different from other IIpa’s, in the sense that the hopes aren’t everything you taste. Give this on a solid 4.5! try it if you see it on draft some where!

Cloudy light amber color; generous creamy head. Strong aroma, hoppy, fruity: peaches, citrus fruits; some cream too, a good touch of Citra; a sweaty touch too, later. Strong toffee flavor, some caramel, very moderate residual sweetness; the hop is very resiny, with strong bitterness, and some fruity presence, like bitter orange peel.
Quite fresh, well constructed, powerful but not cloying.

Nose is very citrusy, lemons and grapefruit. Pours very pale golden yellow with lots of sediment from the bottle floating about. Taste is fruity and tropical . Lots of grapefruit and lemon notes with some malt sweetness to back it up

Beautiful hazy orange with a nice off-white head that leaves some lacings. Nice slightly overripe fruits (mango, lychee, peach, pear), some pine and resin. Longlasting bitterness but not too strong. Great IPA!

Bottle... Poured golden, pale yellow with a white, frothy head. Big pine and resinous hopped nose. Bitter, citrusy fruit. Moderately dry palate, tropical fruits, sweet tarts.

Bottle: Golden pour with a huge margerine colored head. Nose is sweet, sticky, and intoxicating hops. Citrus, pineapple, tropical... a delicious scent. Taste is very hop forward, nice bittering effect. Florals and piney hops come in to support the citrus and fruity bits. Malt lies in the background and seemingly keeps it from getting too bitter and/or dry. Very well balanced and overall quite nice DIPA.

Grapefruit and pine nose with a subtle undercurrent of caramel. Cloudy orange, enormous yellow head, good lacing. Medium body, resinous finish. Grapefruit peel and pine which fades just slightly as faint bread notes appear. Ends more piney than fruity. Alcohol barely noticeable but there. No shortage of flavor and the brewers were generous with the hops. Simcoe appears to be dominant hop, but the beer fails to capture the cat urine essence that may have been the objective for this tribute to a cat. Good IIPA.

Bottle @ home. Cloudy, orange appearance with a creamy, foamy, white head. Huge grapefruity, piney, bitter, citrusy, hoppy nose. Huge bitter, grapefruity hoppy, sweet pale/caramel malty flavor. Lingering bitter, piney, grapefruity hoppy aftertaste. Great brew for hopheads.
