22 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a hazy golden color with a one finger thick off white head. Nice lacing. Aroma and flavor is pungent pine and resin hops with a touch of lightly sweetened toasted malt in the finish. Medium body. Has a touch of astringency. Quite bitter. A good beer.

Bottle… Cloudy golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention eventually leaves spotty lacework behind. The aroma is a mélange of musky, grapefruity and mildly piney hops. Medium to full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and tickling carbonation. Intense, acutely bitter flavor – it’s all about tannic citrus fruit rinds. Finishes bitter, a touch astringent and dry. Bottle at home - shared with Mette. Cloudy amber/brown - white head. Nice fresh hoppy. Abricot. Fruity. Medium malty. Citrus. Resin. Nutty. Nice bitterness. Caramel. Piney. Zesty. Light exotic fruits. Very nice.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours a cloudy opaque orangey golden with a dense off-white head. Distinct peachy hop aroma - wauw, this is serious. Medium body, a light fruity sweetness quickly relieved by a heavy and astringent hop finish that really dries out my mouth. A little too brutal and one-dimensional. 120511

Bottle at Monks Cafe in Philadelphia. Pours clear golden/light orange with a normal sized bubbly white head. Aroma is of pine needles, pine resin, and a lot of citrus. Flavor is very bitter with a sweet citrus finish. Lingering bitterness, medium bodied.

nice golden peach with a big light tan head, great retention and lacing, looks awesome... great nose, lots of citrus and tropical notes, oranges, pineapple, some caramel malt, hops hidden nicely for dipa, smooth resin finish, smells crushable, I want... wow, where’d all those hops come from? lots of hops not overbearing but they present the whole sip, add some nice bitterness, very drinkable, a little sad most of the fruit has disappeared, a small complaint... a really solid in between dipa that I will have again

5/16/11. Bomber courtesy fata2683. Hazy orange pour with a big off-white head that lasts. HUGE aroma with citrus, floral, and definite pine. Hugely bitter flavor with nice pine and a citrus kick as well. Nice!

Bottle. Cloudy gold with a thick off white head. Scent is big citrus. Taste is pine, citrus and a tiny bit of caramel. Dry and bitter.

Bomber. Bright golden orange colored in appearance with ample sea foam head. Lots of fragrant grapefruit citrus and floral hops notes in the aroma along with some caramel and dried tropical fruit in the background. The flavor starts aggressively bitter and citrusy with a blend of resiny hops, sour grapefruit, caramel malt and pine. The body is thick but not syrupy with strong carbonation and a bitter, slightly salty finish. Another excellent San Diego style DIPA from Port.

On tap at Lost Abbey. Nice golden with decent lacing. Huge pine nose. It’s like eating hops. Caramel malt does protrude but just to keep the hops from running rampant. Big IPA
