3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours an opaque orange brownish color with slight head and lacing. The nose is sweet smelling with fruity ketones and slight esters. The first sip is the not like th nose at all. Big hop bitterness but very nicely balanced with a slight bready quality that quickly goes to a citrus hop finish. Nice beer.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bottle. Cloudy orange/amber color. Aroma of fresh hops, grass and resin. Flavor has a hint of malt, dominated by sharply bitter hops. Pine resin and citrus, its all West Coast. Not very strong for a Double IPA or malt strong either. Loads and loads of grassy hops. Whoo.
My 100th Imperial/Double IPA Rating<\b>

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 29, 2011 22oz bottle, just arrived in Chicago. Pours hazy orange-amber with big foamy white head. Nose has faded citrus and cat pee hop notes some oxidized malts. Flavors are stale oxidized malts, citrus, mango, cat pee, damn just not crisp and fresh like it should be. Damn I’m a sucker again.
Tap at Haymarket,
Pours hazy golden with white head. Nose is nice and fruity but nothing huge, lemon and oranges. Flavors have orange and grapefruit rind. Booze on the backend. Good but nothing special.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber. Cloudy orange, lots of sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Nice white head that faded from the snifter quickly. Great aroma( my first thought is that this should be called mango, not mongo!) tropical fruit and citrus. Sweet upfront with tropical fruit and fades into a fairly balanced bitterness.
Medium body with snappy carbonation. Excellent DIPA

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber. Pours a glowing bright orange with a thick billowy white head. Aroma is extremely fragrant citric hops, very fresh, full of mango, pineapple, orange, grapefruit, citric all over. A touch of sweet vanilla and a tiny bit of an herbal note. Flavor starts very sweet and hoppy, again tons of that tropical fruit salad hops and an excellent display of super hoppy balanced with just the right bitter and slight alcohol presence to make it quaffable and thirst quenching while still providing nice body and abv. Finishes with a nice light boozy kick and a lingering piney bitterness. Medium to medium full body and a nice crisp carbonation. Excellent beer, and an extra point because I have a brew cat at home too ;)

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Guest keg at BrewDog Edinburgh. Dark amber, decent white head. Nose is light hops, pine, berries, maybe vanilla? Aroma reminds me of 5am Saint. Slight fruitiness, steamrollered by massive, eye-popping bitter hops. As the beer opens up, more fruit is revealed. Good, but not exactly well balanced. But still a solid DIPA.

Pours a hazy orange amber color with no head. Aroma of hops, pine, resin, and citrus/orange. Lots of hop bitter flavor with pine, citrus, and some caramel. This one is really well done!

Free bottle thanks to wavers. Poured a brilliant hazy gold with a white head that lasted forever and left some great lacing. Aroma was citrus, pine, orange, and a touch of pineapple. Flavor was huge pine up front followed by a subdued amount of malt. Body was medium with a soft frothy carbonation.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
another winner from Port Brewing. This one is really good. Lots of hoppy charachter. Multiple yummy, citrusy strains tossed in there. Overall good taste, spice, citra, piney, resiny sweet dirty malt with more dry hops. Delicious, smells like awesome! Malt was second to hops and light and followed nicely. WIN

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at The Daily Pint. Slightly hazy, bright bright orange with a thick creamy off-white head with intricate lacework. Strong grassy and citrus hops aromas featuring lemon, orange, and tropical fruits. Sharp, clean bitterness up front on the palate that was strong on the tropical fruits. A hint of caramel malt provides a sens of balance. Medium body, nicely carbonated, and a clean crisp hop finish.
