Cloudy light amber color; generous creamy head. Strong aroma, hoppy, fruity: peaches, citrus fruits; some cream too, a good touch of Citra; a sweaty touch too, later. Strong toffee flavor, some caramel, very moderate residual sweetness; the hop is very resiny, with strong bitterness, and some fruity presence, like bitter orange peel.
Quite fresh, well constructed, powerful but not cloying.

Bottle shared at my birthday at CBC, London. Pours light hazy gold with a fine, white head. Lovely citrus hop aroma with lots of other tropical fruits. Great flavor, all pine, grapefruit, orange and hay. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly sticky, resinous finish with light pine and lemon rind. Solid DIPA. Very drinkable.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2012 Cask handpull at GBBF 2010. Gold/orange colour with thin bubbly head Quite sharp on the finish. Bit uncultured, almost medicinal herb on the finish. Bit much for me. Unbalanced hop juice. Couldn?t finish it. Re-rate Bottle at Craft Leighton birthday. Really good hoppy fresh harsh bitter finish but good.

Bottle. Somewhat hazy orange/golden beer with a very nice lasting off white head. Mango and pineapple aroma, hay, perfume notes, pine, pear, milky and creamy notes, strawberries, fruit cocktail. Hoppy perfume flavor, hay, metal, really dry bitter, pine, mango. Long heavy bitter finish with pine, mango, perfume and metal. Just lovely.

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a dense, off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma is citrusy and piney with some grapefruit and a malty note. The flavor too is hop-driven, with some notes of malty sweetness in the back. Pine cones, grapefruit and a solid bitterness, leading to a lasting, grapefruit-ish and bitter finish. Full-bodied, dry and well carbonated. A wonderful beer, dangerously easy to drink, and sort of quenching too. 120511

Bitterer, wenig zitrusartiger Hopfenbeginn. Trocken, etwas holzig. Der Hopfen ist weich, leider aber weniger voluminös als gedacht. Nun eher bitter, kurz laff. Anschließend erdig-trocken, wenig nach Orange. OK! 11/11/11/10/10/11

Tap at the Boilermaker, Philly - 24/05/12. Orange with a medium white head. Sweet malt, pine and slightly floral hops on the nose. Sweet malt flavour, grapefruit, peach, bitter hop finish. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation with a slightly sticky resinous feel, decent.
