Oakes (6808), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 11, 2008 Draught, Lost Abbey, multiple occasions Pretty close to black. Nice creamy head. Lightly roasty, chocolate, with vague hints of smoke and nuts. Full body. Lots of rich chocolate flavours. Sweet and supple. American lager to be sure, but so smooth and complex.

Dark brown black body with a medium-lasting creamy light tan head. Coffee grinds continues in flavour with dry and roasted nuts. Medium-full body. Quite dry, could stand to be more bitter.

Medium light bodied with a fine, but lively carbonation. Non aggressive flavor of dark roast, accented by nuts, tobacco, and chocolate. Clean finish. Not bad. Smooth and roasted malt flavour with a nice and light sweet chocolate malt base flavour. Light acidic touch mixed with liqourice into the finish. General_Gao (2405), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jul 31, 2008 22oz bottle. Pleasant aroma of chocolate, molasses, and roasty malt. Poured an opaque black color. The head was short and brown. Somke lace was left behind on the glass at the end. Medium bodied. Delicately sweet up front, dry and bitter at the end. Big roasted malt flavor with a dark chocolate accent. Mmmmm.
