Commercial Description:
Definitely not your Dad's Wimpy 30 weight. An enormous & luscious dark ale that's as opaque and dark as the most well used motor oils.

Bottle. Dark pour with a very small brown head. Aroma is of coffee and roasted malts. Very woody aroma. Chocolate caramel through out, with some raisons in the background.Very roasty and flavorful. Nice alcohol burn at the end, but it is covered very well at first taste. This beer is very impressive all around. Almost perfect!!!

Tasted @ the Uber Tavern in Seattle.
Black colored brew. Chocolate malts, dark fruits in the aroma. Oak, bourbon, chocolate malts, coffee and roasted, smoked flavor. Smooth and creamy. Nice.

22 oz. btl from Bevmo. First thought: Is this a bad bottle? There’s no carbonation AT ALL. It poured thick and black, and flat like a (insert your joke here. I cannot). I poured the last half rough to get any reaction. I got an 8th of an inch of dark foam that was gone quickly. Barely any residue left. I’m scared to try it because I don’t want to find out it’s bad. Here goes. Smell is deep and malty. Coffee. Thick, pungent, and thank God, it’s good. Definite alcohol taste on 2nd drink, that wasn’t there on first one. My tongue is going numb. This is one f’ing strong tasting beer. Ilike it.

Pours thick. Nice smoky aroma, the bourbon barrel aging softens the alchohol. Good roasted grains, chocalate almost like a good imp. stout.

A nice ale that is very roasty and burnt. A bit thin tasting to me, but it was nice due to the high alcohol. I kept getting some crisp dark bread flavor.
