Thanks to pepsican for giving me a chance to try this. Poured black, with a little bit of light coming through. No head. Smell was big bourbon, licorice and dark fruit. Taste was fig, dark fruits, raisins, bourbon, with a nice full finish that lasted on the tongue. Wish I had a bottle of old viscocity to compare it with.

Bottle, at Monk’s cafe "World’s Most Expensive Beers w/Stephen Beaumont" dinner March 12, 2008.Poured deep black, capped with a moderate sized brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, with oak, raisin, coffee and chocolate nuances. Big chocolate flavor, with bourbon, espresso, oak and vanilla. Smooth body. Delicious.

Dark black with a thin tan head. Smells rich and syrupy with vinous, dark fruit, oak and oil notes. Potent taste!! Clears up the nostrils for sure.. Smooth and slick with notes of espresso, chocolate, vinegar, dark fruit and a slight nuttiness. Freaking beautiful.

Bottle: The aroma has lots of chocolate and bourbon, along with some buttery vanilla and mild roastiness. It pours a dark brown with no transparency and a half inch beige head. The flavor starts with moderate chocolate and caramel. The finish has moderate bourbon, vanilla, light fruiht, and light roastiness. Medium-full bodied with a creamy mouthfeel.

From bottle courtesy of Naka. Oak and vanilla heaven, a super aroma. Sweet and velvetty. Dark black with thin tan head. Oily viscous body with medium carbonation and a bunch of warming. Great oak, vanilla taste, with sweet and alcoholic warming. Great malt flavor. Chocolatey and smooth. Just a great beer and a super way to finish up the evening.

Pours blck with a good sized dark brown head. Aroma of bourbon, roasted malts, raisons. Taste is bourbon, alchohol, chocolate, sweet malt, but not cloying. A bit too boozy.
