Bottle courtesy of Bu11zeye: Poured a pitch-black color ale with a small foamy head with average retention and some lacing. Aroma of bourbon and oak with some notes of roasted malt. Taste is also dominated by some nice notes of bourbon with some light oak with some lightly sweet roasted malt notes. Texture is somewhat oily with average carbonation and full body. Alcohol is definitely not too apparent and bourbon is well balanced. Very good over all but I have to admit I was expecting more character from this beer, this is easily drinkable and I would have never guessed the 12% of ABV.

Dark black with a thin tan head. Smells rich and syrupy with vinous, dark fruit, oak and oil notes. Potent taste!! Clears up the nostrils for sure.. Smooth and slick with notes of espresso, chocolate, vinegar, dark fruit and a slight nuttiness. Freaking beautiful.

Bottle: The aroma has lots of chocolate and bourbon, along with some buttery vanilla and mild roastiness. It pours a dark brown with no transparency and a half inch beige head. The flavor starts with moderate chocolate and caramel. The finish has moderate bourbon, vanilla, light fruiht, and light roastiness. Medium-full bodied with a creamy mouthfeel.
