Bottle. Bought a whole case of these back in december and I’m down to a just a couple left. I’m not surprised I never typed in a rating this happens to me a lot. Either that or I’m positive I typed one in and it’s not there. Right now I’d have to say it tastes about the same it did back then. Aroma is roasty and has chocolate with hints of coffee. Flavor is moderately roasty with an amount of chocolate, molasses, and coffee with maybe a hint of anise. This is all pretty light in the flavor department overall though. Mouthfeel is reminiscent of an oatmeal stout. Good, I think I will review this rating when I open my last bottle. This seemed more fantastic when I was outside putting up christmas lights in the cold.

Pours black with a tiny lacing off white head. Aroma is of molasses and cinnamon with some coffee and roasted malt. Taste is of cinnamon, molasses, brown sugar, chocolate some coffee in there also. Solid beer, looking back I probably should have drank it on Christmas rather than in spring, none the less this was solid.
