Black pour with a a tall, creamy almond brown head that has great retention. Aroma of roast, smoke, chocolate, dark roast coffee, burnt sugar, spice, earth, pie spice, toffee, roasted nuts and pine and spicy hops. Flavor is full of spice, chocolate, coffee, roast and burnt toasted bread up front, then some pine, burnt citrus, toast, earthy wood, hints of fruit and maybe a tiny vegetal note. Heavy body, creamy, to slick entry, moderate, somewhat sharp carbonation, slick and dry, slightly astringent finish. The finish leaves something to be desired in the taste and palate, but it is pretty nice leading up to that.

22 oz bottle from Biggie Wine & Liquor. Black appearance with a big, brown head and lingering lacing, eventually dissipating. Aroma of roasted malts, bitter chocolate, coffee, light caramel/toffee, brown sugar, candy sugar, light spices and light earthy hops. Similar flavor, roasted, spicy, earthy, and malty notes. Mild to medium sweetness and mild bitterness, the alcohol is hidden well. Pretty full body with a smooth, creamy feel and ample carbonation. Pretty solid imperial stout, I was expecting something better, though.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown beer with a small off white head on top. Aroma of milk, lactose, light caramel, molasses and kandi sugar going on, some Belgian spices or something. Flavor is very sweet, very malty and has a lot of sugar and licorice going on here. Quite ok, misses some balance but still a nice impy stout.
