COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a classic West Coast-style imperial red ale brewed with medium crystal malts, centennial and cascade hops. The color is a burnt amber with red highlights and the aroma has a spicy hop presence with moderate caramel malt accents. The taste is a smooth, malty one with a balanced hoppy finish that includes hints of sweet caramel

Solid hop heavy brew. Pours an odd dark murky amber with a dark opaque brown tinge and no head lest a thin white layer a few bubbles thick. The nose is hoppy with big blossoming fruits and a spritz of pine and grapefruit with big resinous notes and tons of toffee to fill in the cracks. Just a massive aroma. Sweet and moderately roasted malts with toffee cand brown sugar notes. Hints of grapefruit and a pine centric hop flavour. The finish has a tart and sweet resinous hop despite having a mild bitterness. Fantastic balance and incredibly drinkable despite the sneaky booze that is entirely missing throughout the entire ordeal. overall, a great brew.

Bomber. Pour dark amber, cloudy with light tan head. Head slightly lacey. Aroma is malt, dough, slight citrus. Nice balanced taste. Sweet carmel, yeasty, flavorful. Hops come through at the end with a nice bitter finish. Lingering bitterness and bread. Really nice brew. Full body but doesnt over do any aspect. Alcohol present but in a good way. Really enjoy this brewery and this beer. Almost a shame it is 9%. Tastey enough and not too overpowering to want more.

Copper pour from a growler. Crazy ass hops in my nose. Full bodied and tons of malt to balance. Well done.

bottle from hopduvel realy nice pour! reddish / amber, dark coloured ( LOVE that) with a very steady big ( not huge though) head. about one of the prettiest i’ve seen lately ! smell is very big, even from distance. hops, sweetness. damn , what a great start to drink abeer that is ! that soft carbonation, the very sweet hoppyness.. DAMN i underestemated how good this would be ! sugery (but i most assure you, not too much) , some hopbitterness in the back... what can i say? i miss a great aftertaste ( in this the aftertaste is there, but is small ) but i DO love this beer ! thanx to bobochamps for the recomendation, i’ll definetly buy more of this !

65 cl bottle @ home. Pours reddish amber with some sediment and a white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is harsh citrus, resin, pepper, and caramel. Flavour is caramel, harsh citrus, and resin – with a bitter finish.

Bomber----> tulip. Pours a cloudy light brown with a massive head and insane lace. Aroma is fairly sweet caramel/toffee malt, grapefruit, and a bit of alcohol. Taste follows aroma with the bitterness and caramel dominating. Doesn't hide the alcohol very well. Palate is kind of thick and fizzy. Drinkable beer, but probably my least favorite from a brewery I dearly love. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

6 dec 2012, tap. Red ale color, faintly hazy, no bubbles. Nose is a harsh grapefruit rind hop. Med body and mildly fizzy. Grapefruit rind up front and bitter at first, then slightly sweet malt red ale, but goes back to harsh grapefruit in the finish. Pretty decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
