COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a classic West Coast-style imperial red ale brewed with medium crystal malts, centennial and cascade hops. The color is a burnt amber with red highlights and the aroma has a spicy hop presence with moderate caramel malt accents. The taste is a smooth, malty one with a balanced hoppy finish that includes hints of sweet caramel

Bottle. Dark amber to copper with a large beige head leaving thick lacing. Aroma: pretty nice fruitiness with citrus, pine and light tropical fruits. Taste: quite malty, caramel, candy, salt, floral, resin, pine, citrus, peach, medium bitter. Quite full bodied, almost moussy. Would be nice to try a fresher and (I guess) hoppier. Still, this was nice.

tap: dark red-amber with a thin head. Aroma is smooth piney hops with caramel. Flavor is sweet caramel moving to a nice pine resin bitter. Easy drinking with a great flavor. Did not know it was 9.5abv so easy to drink. I will get more.

Deep red, light, soapy head. Crystal malts galore! Chewy, wet, hoppy, caramel; this is a big beer. Interesting spice on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Binnys in Orland Park, an amber tea like pour with white head. Aroma of malt, resinous hops, caramel, and some dark fruit. Taste is caramel, some fruit sweetness and lingering bitter, bit old. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Red ales are my target point. I’m actually drunk right now and I can barely type this. I can say, however, this is a good red ale. Nothing exceptional however. Little strong and spicy for style. As always, damn you all!

Bottle. Deep amber pour with a frothy off white head. Hoppy aromas. Piney hop zing with smooth caramel malt undertones and spices. It has a nice little zip to the mouthfeel. Good body and carbonation. Would be very refreshing sitting outside with a cool sea breeze.
